El Pato Mexican Food — Restaurant in Texas

Got my order wrong again, none of the patos were marked at all. I ordered 2 beef with lettuce and tomato, 2 chicken and avocado and the other 8 beef and cheese. I got an assortment of beef and cheese, and some beef and avocado I did NOT order whatsoever, and I did NOT receive any chicken patos whatsoever. This has become a trend at El Pato. I used to frequent this and the Weslaco locations and everytime I'm missing food, or i'm charged for additional fillers (cheese, for example) and don't even receive any cheese on some of the patos. Of the dozen times I've visited an El Pato this past year it ends up like this 9 out of 10 times. Advising staff obviously hasn't worked, I hate to be that guy, but your staff needs to not take it personally when the only consistency is inaccurate food orders and the borderline condescending staff who has at times gotten defensive when I've had to return an incorrect order. Overall The Chalupas are a total rip off..your going to get whiffle of beans 🫘 if your lucky? If you order more than 1 they stack all of them on 1 plate even though there's several people standing in front of them while ordering they knew there was more than one person eating them and proceed to assemble on top of the stack missing all the Chalupas under the top one! In this case 3 Chalupas 1 plate ? So no full toppings on 2, So they are saving pennies on an over priced $3.49 EACH! (not worth more than a $1.79 each as far as I'm concerned) SPARSLY BEAN TOPPED CORN FLAT WITH 1/2 the toppings missing seriously? there were 2 of us eating dine in! We didn't even get salsa? Whats wrong here $20 waisted on 3 chulupas 1 large drink and a gross tiny sliver of cheesecake that had red jelly on top that cost $5.29? for that price I could have bought an entire cheesecake out of the freezer department at Walmart! The food here is delicious. Always looks great and tastes freshly prepared. Even my two picky eaters love a lot of things on the menu (although chicken enchiladas are a favorite!). I will say that it takes just a little longer than most fast food joints, but it's worth it. After all, good food takes time!! The staff is always nice but today our drive-through server, Monica, provided exceptional service. After hearing my entree order, she offered me their monthly special instead which consisted of the same entree plus a drink for the same price. Saved me a few bucks - who doesn't love that! She was also friendly at the window where she updated me on daily specials and invited me to come back next month when there will be some changes/additions to their menu.
