This is in reference to the location on 1187 in Rendon Texas. This location has a bad reputation of service. Numerous times in the past, they’ve not been able to deliver in a timely manner and deliver incorrect orders or orders that seem to have been “sitting on the counter” long enough to get cold. Each time they mess up, they like to offer a “band-aid” for their errors by offering a credit for a future order. Not ever apologizing for the mess ups. We’ve always just taken the credits and gone about our day but this last experience makes us want to not use Dominos in general…..at all.
My son had to stay home from school and my wife had ordered him pizza for lunch. She can’t leave the house as she works remotely from home. She ordered his food at about 12:40. At 1:10, her order arrived at the house. She opened the pizza to give it to our son and saw that they had delivered the wrong order entirely. She tried to call the location numerous times, sat on hold, got transferred around and then finally after waiting nearly 25 minutes was able to speak with someone at the location. When she explained that she’d been delivered the wrong order, the store associate simply said: “oh, we’ll fix it” and hung up. Without even getting any other information.
I told her I would try to get in contact with them and I ran into the same Issues. Not able to get through. Transferred around, and put on holds for long periods of time. I was finally able to get through and speak to someone at the store location. I asked for the manager. The manager didn’t get on the phone but chose to talk to me through the associate that as were the phone. The associate kept having to relay back and forth what me and the manager were saying so I finally had enough and asked that he put the manager on the phone with me.
When I was finally able to explain to him why I was calling he said: “ is this the order that was delivered incorrectly?”
Seriously? You know what situation I’m referring to and you have still failed to address it???!
He said he was going to credit us another pizza for a future order. I said: “No sir. I need you to deliver food to my wife and son so they can eat lunch.” He tried to tell me it would be a while because they were backed up. I said again: “No sir. I need you to send food to our house so they can eat.”
After a pretty unnecessarily long conversation, he finally said that he would send the correct order out.
It was VERY frustrating to not be able to speak with someone at the location without having to go through so many obstacles and then so much pushback once I got in touch with the manager. ...
Read moreThe experience I had tonight with this particular Domino's will make me sure to order from Pizza Hut from here on. Upon the delivery my 2 Liter and extra ranch was missing. The delivery girl stated she would go back and get it. After she left I called the store to be double sure and put someone else on alert. The lady that answered the phone stated they would be sure to let her know. Meanwhile my pizza is sitting on the bar getting cold. The young lady arrived back with my drink BUT NO RANCH. Any other day I wouldnt make such small matters but WE HAD NO RANCH which I was why I PAID FOR SOME. I called the store and calmly explained the situation BUT Austin insisted on telling me they were in the middle of a rush and I couldnt be dealt with at the time (BASICALLY) They tried to offer me credit in which I declined because I WANT THE CASH BACK I JUST GAVE YOU!! It took maybe 3 times and almost a yell to get the manager on the phone.. I insisted (YET AGAIN) they bring me my money. The mgr said okay.( after another 2 times of refusing anything less) The delivery girl arrived with my refund and guess what? NO RANCH!!! Customer service these days is completely out the window. The delivery girl did give a rehearsed apology as she walked away on her phone. Pizza had to be warmed up in the microwave which was overall dissatisfying...
Read moreI ordered 2 medium pizzas here with 4 toppings. Last time I ordered was in Mansfield and the manager was awful to me and didn't care that there was a receipt stuck to our pizza so we couldn't eat half of it. Then within 2 hours I was vomiting and I called the next day telling about it. Again he didn't seem to be bothered. Not even an apology. He sounded young. So this time we ordered from Rendon. I ordered the hand tossed because I like how fluffy the crust is. Well when we got it, it was thin, tough and hard. This whole pizza was way overcooked. It wasn't burned but it was cooked so long that every topping was as tough and hard as the crust. I spat out the toppings because I got so tired of chewing. All except the pineapple. The ham, bacon and onion was just unedible. You couldn't get it chewed up. The bbq sauce must have been dried up because it had hardly no taste like it usually does. So $25.00 on 2 pizzas that we couldn't eat. WHATS HAPPENED TO DOMINOES? THEY DONT EVEN RESPOND TO THESE REVIEWS EXCEPT TO SAY EMAIL US SO WE CAN SOLVE THIS AND THEN WE NEVER HEAR FROM THEM.
