I have eaten here a few times now since it is close to the house. The first couple of times shortly after it opened were good meals and fresh meat. Since then we have gone two different times and picked up lunch. About a three minute drive from the house. We always get pulled pork sandwiches. These last two times we went in while they weren’t busy, nobody, but us there and it took over ten minutes for them to make our pulled pork sandwiches and then we drove straight home to eat them and the entire bottom bun and partially the top as well were drenched and soggy. Instead of cutting fresh meat off a pork butt they must be pulling prepackaged meat and then throwing it into the juices they saved to warm it up for a few minutes and then putting it on a bun. We couldn’t even pick them up they were so soaked and soggy, just falling apart. We will start going back to Jan is where it is freshly cut and fast and larger portions as well plus not over thirty dollars for two sannies and one potato salad and...

Our first time to eat at this restaurant. This is a small family owned restaurant. The owner went above and beyond to take care of us. He gave us a small sampling of the meat he serves and of the potato salad. It was all very tasty! We decided on the chopped barbecue sandwich lunch special. The meat was tender and juicy. The bun had been butter toasted and the B-B-Q sauce was some of the best I have ever tasted. It is the owner's own recipe! Also, we got a side of the potato salad. Now, I am not a big potato salad fan because usually potato salad bought out is pretty tasteless with no mustard and not enough pickles or the onions are in chunks...but not here! It was some of the BEST I have ever eaten! It is his own recipe, also. I also understand his wife makes a killer homemade banana pudding! I highly recommend you check this place out. This is a hidden gem of BBQ! I have had my share of eating different types of BBQ however, hands down the best food I have had. I ordered the triple stuffed baked potato which is brisket, pulled pork and stuff sausage. The brisket and pulled pork melt in your mouth they were out of sausage but did not skimp on the portions. The baked potato itself was tender just amount of butter very good and satisfying. It was late in the afternoon many items sold out quickly I would go early in the day you will not be disappointed. We received sample ribs which melt off the bone the smoke yet sweet taste bar none the best ribs I have had. Thank you for an amazing experience with the comfort and hospitality. We will be back...
