Patties Burgers and Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Texas

On a ho-hum Monday, taking the back roads home from a doctor's appointment across town, a quick Google search found what might be a real gem in the wild. Patties Burgers and Mexican Restaurant. Depending on where you look, it may say Patties Burgers & Fries, but it is definitely a Burger and Mexican restaurant.

There are so many selections on the menu that I had grab one and sit down to browse over it. There were many items that I wanted to order and try out, but my wallet and belly told me to keep it simple. I will just say that I will be returning to peruse the menu further.

Today, I settled for a good ole bacon cheeseburger...smashed. I also ordered some chicken flautas just to dabble in the Mexican flavors. Their drinks are bottled, including the water, but they know what they're doing in the kitchen.

I love finding these little hidden gems, but unfortunately, I have to bring attention to them to help keep them in business and doing what they do best. I've drove past by this place many times and this was my first visit. It won't be my last visit though. I can't support them by myself, it takes a village. Come on village, give them some love. ❤️

SERVICE: My step dad and I went here because he wanted to try it out. It was a simple mom and son (I'm assuming) shop. They were nice, small time and I hope them the best. But the food is what is most important, including the service. We had to wait for 20-30 minutes for food as everything is cooked to order. There was an issue with a wrong order with a picky customer. While we waited for our food, they offered free drinks, which was nice. Lastly, when we got our order and before we drove off, they gave us the rest of our order they forgot to give us. They were really nice and dedicated. They got some kinks to iron out, but they got some potential and wish them the best.

FOOD: Both my step father and I ENJOYED our food. It was filling and better than anything we could have gotten from ANY chain food restaurant. My step father doesn't sugar "One of the better burgers I've made in a long time..."

CRITIQUE: Their signature sauce....it's delicious and they give too little of it. 😂

I would love to see this business stay around for a long time. They may need 1-2 employees, but I'm full of food and am happy we came...

Now this is an experience! For months I have been passing by this place and noticed it said Patties Burgers! Quite catchy I must say. I took a friend of mine in there for lunch last Sunday and noticed from the time that I had gotten out of my truck and took a good smell! I noticed this is the place I want to be. Upon entering and noticing how truly clean the place is assured me I was in the right spot. The wall art is really something with aliens and futuristic burgers on the wall. The couple that was there were very nice and straight up cool. I got a classic and learned quick to get the next one with the "house sauce"! It is what you want! And you cant have what you want without fresh cut fries! I do like mine with the skins on! Just sayin!😁 but with that said they were absolutely wonderful and cooked to that nice light golden crisp seasoned well. Man that food was good! I strongly recommend this place. I always love a good fresh old school burger. Toasted on the inside only,no grease on the outside crisp with that crunch. I'll be back next week! Hope y'all are there too! Love yall and...
