Donut Palace Potranco SA — Restaurant in Texas

Went in to get a variety of donuts. Initially was going to order through grubhub as there was an offering for a jelly and bavarian creme filled donut that vould be ordered but decided to go in person instead. Disappointing as the girl at the counter said they cannot fill with cream and raspberry, so why is it listed like that on grubhub, not sure. The disappointment didnt stop there. Went in at around 930 and they had zero bavarian or boston cream filled donuts. I ordered a long john that can be filled, asked for bavarian cream and as you can see in this photo the cream is missing in action, and this donut is cut right down the middle We ordered bear claws, which had apples in them, thats not the bear claw im familiar with. Asked for 2 vinnamon sugar twists, nope only 1 left. How do you have so little donuts left at 9:30am on a sunday. Stick with shipleys or somewhere else but this was a once and...

Another business with a "out of order" restroom sign represents one too many. The hypocrisy of businesses demanding to be open but not making right on making sure restrooms are in order. Texas State Health or whoever regulates places like this should audit establishments who claim their restroom is actually really broken. This is like the broke ice cream machine at McDonald's. It is because business owners think they are saving money on restroom maintenance by putting an "out of order " sign? Too many businesses are putting these signs since 2020...and we wonder why? For sure, I do not intend to bring my family back here until ownership makes improvements on having a working restroom for its customers. Also, they don't have milk...but guess what? Shipley's on Potranco always has milk ...we are tired hearing of the COVID...

I absolutely love the packages the doughnuts come in. ADORABLE! I can't eat the options available due to food allergies, however I frequently purchase doughnuts for the kids and friends and they are always well received and enjoyed. (They smell delightful) The staff is friendly and the one time I did have an issue, I felt it was addressed properly. Thank you for being a positive experience in the community.

A note on the property, they do have a drive thru (it is marked) and you have to go around the building. It's shares building space with at least 3 other establishments and several times I have visited there is a car parked on the side. So you have to drive around the car and back to the other side to reach...
