I read the online reviews and knew this was obviously the place to go. We were a little hesitant at the location. Rough parking and a bit swampy. But as soon as we walked up and smelled the smoker, we were happy. The other patrons were loyal locals and encouraged us our whole wait that we were in for a treat.
My husband got the chicken and brisket with beans and macaroni and cheese.
I got the brisket with macaroni and cheese and jambalaya rice. Oh. My. Word. The meat is fantastic and SOOO SOOOO MUCH! No joke, two meals had to be 10 pounds of food.
The sides were unbelievably good. Super cheesy Mac, but the jambalaya rice is a meal in itself with lots of chunks of smoked chicken and sausage. Sooo good! My husband’s beans were full of brisket. We stopped by for a meal before our early flight tomorrow and we are just crying because there is no way we can finish the food before we leave, though we will try. 😂

Read moreI’m from Dallas and drive trucks and when I’m near Greenspoint area I absolutely must have Grubbs bbq. I get the 3 meat plate of ribs, sliced brisket mix of lean and fat are my choices, and sausage with jambalaya rice with diced chicken and sausage and like diced vegetables as well all mixed in and finally barbecue bake beans with chunks of brisket bites. He includes two rib ends on mine charred to perfection. This guy only pleases and doesn’t understand how to disappoint with his smoking meat skill set and brilliant customer service. He is extremely observant and attentive of his customers once on the property because he loves taking care of his customers and their appetite. Go eat at Grubbs bbq is what I’m telling you....
Read moreI was really craving some bbq and Grubbs had awesome reviews and now I know why. I had a big fat brisket sandwich and it was finger liking delicious.
This was my first time here so I didn't know it was cash only, no debit or cc, cash only! I had no cash I had debit only. I opted to come back another day (with cash) but a lovely gentleman overheard me and offered to pay for my brisket sandwich. I declined a couple times but eventually thanked the kind stranger and accepted his offer. He told me he drove quite a distance to get to Grubbs because the bbq was so good. It's nice to know there's still good people in this world. I will definitely return to Grubbs...
