I almost never go to Jack in the Box, but I had a coupon, so I was willing. It was late at night, and my friend and I were already having a bad time from some car stuff, so we were a little happy to get our treat, which was this family meal deal thing plus some other stuff.
Anyways, we get in the drive-thru, and it takes the gentleman roughly 2 minutes to realize we are there, but then he tells us to hold on. It's okay. It's weird for 1 a.m., but we don't question it. Finally, we order. He isn’t sure if he can use the coupon but asks us to pull forward.
I pull forward, and there is the BIGGEST, FAT, flying cockroach just sitting there by the window. He opens the window, doesn't even notice it, and keeps trying to get the order. I point it out, and he just has it there, like a guard dog essentially staring us down and leaving it be.
He processes the coupon, and then we do a second order at the window because my friend wants chili crisp fries and a Buttery Smashed Jack. She also tried to order two drinks, didn’t get them, and wasn’t charged for them after asking and trying to confirm it.
I also want to state the gentleman at the drive-thru said they had a large order that night, and he at first seemed to be working by himself, but I noticed two people by the office just standing and chatting while the kid was rushing through like a chicken with his head cut off.
He finally gets us our food, and we leave because it took several minutes and cars behind us were honking, and we just wanted to go home. My friend sees that she didn’t get the fries — she got regular ones — and she got a regular burger. In the coupon, there were supposed to be 4 tacos included with the burgers, chicken sandwiches, and fries, but they didn’t do that.
So, combined with all the things going on, we didn’t get the drinks we tried ordering and the tacos. I’m just saying — maybe they run okay during the daytime, but nighttime? Just go across the street to...
Read moreDisappointment. That is what i am expected to expect from this location seeing as how every time I come to this particular location at night after work, something is wrong. Without fail. Fries are over cooked. Burger made wrong. Missing items. Today particularly I have curly fries that taste and FEEL like they have been sitting for well more than the standard 30 minutes. And my loaded fries are obviously old as well. Again, I am disappointed and I hope everyone else who stops here late at night don't expect anything good.
I will say this, day crew is at least decent, their foods more edible than night shift. I think night shift lazy.
Update: 24 September 2018 Went to this very same jack in the box (only because its the only one on the way home from work) last night around 11:16. I ordered a LG fry no salt, 3 egg rolls, and the wakey bakey hash thing. I got home and (you'll see in the new pictures) one of the egg rolls was... I really don't know, blackened, I just feel that if it made it into the box, unless a blind person did it, it should have been seen and replaced immediately. The wakey valet however... The hash browns looked like they were made hours before I placed my order, the egg was not cooked completely and there was almost no bacon on it. The only good thing is that they're smart enough to make fresh fries with no salt instead of serving over salted fries. I will be calling the assistant manager Emma to...
Read moreThis is such a nice new part of town, and this Jack-n-the-box is fairly new. It's a shame, but they need to just close this store. I should've known when I went through the drive-thru right around 12 noon and there wasn't any other cars in line. In spite of no customers, service was still slow. I went through the drive-thru to get 3 Jumbo Jacks with cheese. I also bought 1 order of onion rings and 1 order of stuffed jalapenos. The burgers were the worst burgers I have ever bought - not exaggerating. Everything in them was ice cold, cold "beef" patties, mushy tomatoes, cold stale buns. We had to throw them away after the first bite. Not sure when the burger patties were cooked - day before yesterday maybe? The onion rings were $3.99 and there was only about 4 and a half small/medium onion rings and they were broken up. At over $1 each for an onion ring with the crust half knocked off and in pieces, they're definitely not worth it. The jalapenos were also in pieces, over fried, crust fallen off, and I don't think I got the order of 7 that I paid for. It was more like 5 and a half. After this I won't be going to any Jack-n-the-box for a while if ever. It's sad because they have so many craveable menu items but this was the worst quality - all of it was inedible. First time we have ever had to all throw away 3 hamburgers after...
