Those 5 star reviews must be from friends, family or people that work there. Not my first time there but definitely my last time back. I give a place a couple of chances and then I'm out if no improvements are done. Where to begin is the issue. The flour tortillas were NOT soft they were salty and hard. Like a salsa chip. The queso guisado plate I ordered the same thing. The particular type of cheese one uses for that plate has salt in it. These people added heaps more salt to it. The rice was the same thing, salty as Galveston water. I told my wife " my taste buds are off or something. Seems like its me". But no, her's food wasn't exactly the same. The tacos she ordered had bits of food from the other trays. It's like they use one spoon for all the food. Her tortillas the same way. Falling apart when folded, dry and salty. I’ll start of with Pro’s Mexican salsa had flavor -Flour tortillas were soft and made by hand. -Sunny side eggs were cooked well and the food portion was good. -The beans were well seasoned, not too salty. Waitress and staff were friendly.

Con’s Small parking area in front- we saw people parking across the street. -If you have a large party more than 6 I wouldn’t recommend. -We waited outside in the heat because the restaurant is small and we were told to step outside. -Only 1 bathroom for men and women. -Cafe de olla was watered down and no flavor. We thought the basket of chips were stale so we asked the waitress if we could get a fresh batch. I think their chips are made that way because the fresh batch were almost the same except warm. Expensive for what we got. -Red chilaquiles were soggy - good salsa taste though. -My husband ordered queso con rajas and he said they lacked flavor.

It was the first time and totally a horrible experience. To begin with, there are not enough parking lots and customers fight over a place, we enter and there is no one to tell you if you can sit or wait, so we sat down and it almost stopped because they said there were people waiting, we finally sat and it took about 15 minutes to take us the drinks, then they took our order and here was the biggest problem, it took more than 35 minutes to bring only one dish and mine still took longer, so when they finally took it I told them that I didn't want it anymore. They only apologized saying that since they no longer had what I ordered, they had to prepare more. I think they should have said or that they no longer had or asked me if I wanted to wait for them to prepare more, but no one went or said anything, not even the waitress and besides not even coffee took us.
