Long John Silver's | Taco Bell — Restaurant in Texas

Yesterday I went through the drive through and was rushed even though I was the only one in line. I placed my order for the 8 piece family meal and I also ordered a side order of shrimp and clams. When I got to the window to pay, I used Apple Pay and the lady at the window seemed to be annoyed because the Face ID didn’t catch because she was holding the machine too high up. Eventually the payment went through and she handed me my order. I waited a few seconds and she said “that’s all mam that’s all “ so I thought everything was in my order. I got home and she left out the shrimp and clams (I hope she enjoyed them) And the fries were cold as they always are at this particular long John restaurant. I called and whoever I spoke to wanted me to go all the way back and pick up what they kept and charged me for. I asked to be credited since I used a card and he refused and said that I needed to come pick it up. I wasn’t going to go back because it was raining and cold. So, this was my third visit to this place in the last couple of years and it will be my last.

Really friendly staff, the food (at least the LJS side) is really good. Portions are really acceptable, and they have enough space for the sodas, and the condiments, which are also acceptably stocked.

The prices ARE a bit pricey, but it's pretty worth it if you're in the mood for fish. Also, the hushpuppies are pretty delicious.

Things to keep in mind: COUPONS ARE NOT BEING ACCEPTED HERE. Which I honestly don't get, since the coupons I had were from the website, but for some reason they don't take 'em, I assume it's because they're located with Taco Bell. And, if you want lime, they only give out little plastic packets of lime juice now, for whatever reason. Probably to not have issues with the...

We purchased a 16 piece fish and chicken family meal which is to serve 7 - 8. We received 7 fish and 5 chicken serving with regular sides not large/family. Most of the sides were out, limited in pick. Looks like management is not as allowing staff to make new batches after a certain time because they're trying to manage cost/waist. Unfortunately they are doing this at the expense of the customer. What a scam. Time to contact corporate office / Fed oversight and do an audit/store review. This store is located in Pharr, TX.
