The reason for the 4 stars is the small filling portion and the price for them. But if the tamal gets thicker with Love the price is fine and the 5 stars pour in on their own. My search for the Handmade delicious Tamale's ends here for the rest of the year. You have to stop here and try for yourselves. The taste of these handmade tamales is Deliciously Delectable.The taste brought back memories from my childhood days when my Grandmother and Mother and Aunts used to gather around at Christmas time to make Tamaladas/Tamales for all family These are Authentically hand made and cooked just right! With no masa sticking on the husk. Forget the Machine made tamales at Delia's and other big chain Tamaleras these are awesome...

The food is actually pretty good. The atmosphere is ok, but I haven't had the need to sit in and dine. The service, however, is what affected my review.

It can be a bit slow, and this last visit, the lady working was extremely rude! It was 3 days before Christmas, and they no longer 'did day to day business' ONLY pre-orders. I overlooked the 8x10 white paper sign at the door entrance and told her "you all should have a sign" which she replied "there is one at the door, read it" as I was walking out. Personally, I won't go back there and give my business to an ungrateful small business owner. I would rather go across the street to "El Guero" or ACROSS town to...

Around The holidays we usually start ordering and we love them 💕 But Today 😱 they had no taste and they seemed old , and very dry !!! We ordered 2 dozens of Bean and Cheese tamales and 2 dozens of chicken and cheeses !! I only ate 1/2 of the chicken and cheese and half of the bean and cheese😩 I spent the night at moms who’s 92 to help care for her. . Mom only drinks her ensure and makes potatoes and her Tamales from HEB!! This is what she will only eat,so I wanted to surprise her with some from there . What a disappointment!! I think that they sold us very old...
