Mad Dogs is not only Mad for you but it’s made for you! I came here on a sunny spring Friday for lunch, with a slight breeze in the air. I’ve been to this food truck colony before but hadn’t had a chance to try Mad Dogs, so I was excited. Service is quick and efficient, with ordering fine from a screen. The cook in the truck was polite and customer friendly. The dogs themselves were delicious. The Mad Dog was good and crunchy, with the crispy onions. The honey mayo, sriracha, curry ketchup and cream cheese all blended well for a sweet but savory taste. This dog is somewhat similar to others I’ve had in design but what really stood out to me was the link. I ordered the non spicy which is unusual for me but the breeze had me feeling relaxed. The link was really good and I thought tastier than some more well known establishments. The Elote Dog was excellent! Roasted cream corn, mayo, parmesan, cilantro, fresh jalapeño, and tajin. With a bit of fresh lime juice squeezed on it, this was a dog whose bite was as big as its bark! I enjoyed the explosion of flavor and I would definitely come back for another one. The fries were really good as well. Seasoned very well and crispy just how I like them. I’m hoping in the future, they offer a jumbo or foot long version of these dogs. I could see myself wiping the plate with one. Come check this place out!

I’ve driven by this place several times and finally decided to stop in today. The staff was friendly, and the service was impressively quick—our order was ready in about 10 to 15 minutes. I tried the chili cheese dog and chili cheese fries. My wife went with the elotes and a cup of chili. The standout for me was the hotdog bun—it had a soft, slightly sweet flavor, almost like a Hawaiian roll, which I really enjoyed. Unfortunately, the chili itself wasn’t quite to my taste. It reminded me more of a sloppy Joe chili than a traditional chili, and the use of cheese sauce instead of shredded cheese gave it a different texture than I expected. My wife took just one bite of her chili and decided to pass. She thought the elotes were okay—nothing special, but not bad either. Overall, great service and friendly people, but the chili style just wasn’t for us. If you’re a fan of that sweeter, saucier chili, you might enjoy it more than we did.

Gourmet halal hot dogs?? Say less. I got to try Mad Dogs at a masjid pop up event and the hot dogs were SO GOOD. There was a long line, but it was absolutely worth it. My friends and I got one of each (Mad Dog, Brisket Dog, and Corn Dog). The corn dog was my favorite, but they were all very good. The customer service was wonderful, the staff was so helpful and considerate. We had such a great experience at the pop up that we decided to book them for a private party and our whole family was so impressed with them.

Yesterday was my second time going to the Spring location. The first time the food a was pretty tasty and customer service was great as well. I went back yesterday to try a different menu item. I ordered the chopped cheese dog, two chopped cheese fries and an elote corn. My husband and I both have food poisoning with symptoms starting 4-6 hours after eating. Soooo much vomit, pain, and you know what that we both had to miss work today. I tried to send a message through the website to inform someone to toss that batch bc it would probably kill an immunocompromised person. They had only been open for about 4 mins when I arrived so everything should be new. I truly believe it's the chili and cheese or it was old and reheated. My husband only ate half of his chopped cheese fries and got sick with the same symptoms as me. My symptoms were much worse bc I ate the dog with the fries and elote corn. Lastly the extensive vomiting cause me to black out and hit my back and arm on the tub before I regained consciousness and now I'm bruised up as well. The customer service is great but after this experience, I'll never eat here again or recommend...

CHECK YOUR BAG! This place is intent on shorting you so make sure you got what you paid for. I’ve come here 3x and usually order the elote, which is absolutely delicious. However, the 3rd time, we ordered chopped cheese fries which comes with beef and mad dog sauce, a burger which comes with cheese and sauce and toppings, a side of fries, and 2 lemonades. Our bag was knotted tight so we made the mistake of not checking our food before leaving. First, they didn’t give us our drinks. We go back and request them and they give us only 1. I pointed out that we paid for two and the guy wants to argue about how many drinks we ordered when it clearly says “2” on the receipt. He gave us the 2nd drink and we left. Upon opening our food at home, we noticed they did not give us the side of fries we paid extra for, there was barely any mad dog sauce on the mad dog fries, it was mostly a big pile of fries with a little beef on top. And there were no toppings on the burger, only cheese, and it was a very small burger. It seemed intentional that they shorted us on purpose especially after the back and forth about the 2 drinks we paid for. We will not...
