I’m am sitting in the 1941 Marketplace as my sweetheart is in surgery. I’ll be here overnight, and I have to agree that this place is not good for those who must wait. The cafe, which is the only place to eat, is actually a Starbucks. The food consists of a few types of cake, candy, some heavily spotted bananas and small number of cold, prepackaged food that can be heated in the microwave. I noticed the staff brings their own food from home, except for coffee.
There is a water dispenser, but no cups, and as another person-in-waiting said, no food or beverages are allowed in the waiting area which has blaring overhead lights and is not very comfortable. There are no TVs in the cafe or lobby.

Read moreMy mother had surgery and an overnight stay here 4/3 - 4/4 and I have to tell you, everything from the staff to the food to the rooms and the care was outstanding! I did not worry about my mother at all and everyone treated her like family. They were not only attentive and kind to her but also to me and to my aunt who stayed overnight with my mother. The food was good and my mother expressed so much surprise that hospital food was so flavorful (thank you Marky Mark)! Her nurses and other staff made sure she was taken care of. We see them all as angels! John, Dorothy, Ursula, Lianna, Marcus, Nicole, Gina, Kim, Kathy, and Dr. Liang & Dr. Dickey -...

This facility is a great place to receive quality care and is convenient for patients in the area. I wish for much more success and...
