This place has the best gooey mozzarella cheese on all their pizzas that used to make my heart flutter. Now the delivery process has been delegated to food delivery services and is almost always around one hour late, give or take ten minutes. Do I love eating cold pizza, sure, do I enjoy paying $50 each time for food to arrive cold -heck no. Each time I order here I think, "maybe this time will be better?" and each time I am proven wrong and repetitively left sucking on a bitter slice of buyer's remorse. I'm done. I have no problem driving ten minutes to the location to pick up my order if you could just be honest from the get go with your false promise times and just communicate to the customer, then maybe I could more selective when considering viable realistic dinner options. Waiting ten minutes to leave the house is fine and awesome if it cannot be delivered promptly; ordering and getting order delivered an hour after sitting in some randos car - gross and unforgivable. Yes, there is a far closer other pizza place, and yes I will ditching Marco's after five years.
Edit/Update OCT/2025: You know when your taste buds get their fresh and hot bite of your favorite comfort food? Biting into a hot slice of my favorites pizzas from Marcos after a long absence was sublime! If you are able to pick up your own order, this is the way to go. Pizzas were piping hot, cheese was true perfection as was the garlic sauce crust! Side note: grilled chicken Caesar salad for work the next day was a lunch I never knew I was missing! If you're in the neck of these woods and crave pizza that melts in your mouth, order and swing by...
Read moreUpdate: I like marcos pizza, so I decided to give this place another try. Surprise! It let me down again. I should have known better. 60 minutes after ordering we called the store, and they said my order would be the next made. How is pizza not even made an hour after ordering? 90 minutes after ordering and our pizza had just left the store. Apparently there was only one driver working, so who knows how many orders the driver left with, and how much longer it would have taken to get my order. I canceled, to which the response was just, "are you sure?" Trust the bad reviews; it's a 50/50 shot that you'll ever get your order, but they can pretty much guarantee it will be late, and will make no effort to make it right. And no I don't want to tellmarcos because it won't make a difference.
Original: I placed an order online at 5:30, said it would be 69 minutes. Since I live close to the store, I tried to call at 65 minutes to check on the status. I was on hold for 31 minutes before I finally disconnected. If you're short staffed, fine. Set the expectations appropriately. I've been charged for an order I will never get and can't reach...
Read moreWe tried them soon after they opened. I waited almost three hours for food. When I called to check on it about an hour and a half after I ordered they said the order got cancelled but offered no reason why. They offered to retake my original order and I was told the order would be free due to this error. While I finally got the food another 1.5 hours later - it ended up not being free because even though the original order was “cancelled” the payment was not cancelled and ended up going through. Didn’t bother arguing it - but highly unlikely we’ll give them another try.
Update: well we tried them again - 4 months after the fact and they failed to deliver our drinks with our order and when I called to let them know - I was hung up on before anyone even said hello. I was waiting for someone to answer - they just picked up the receiver...
