PA-PA's — Restaurant in Texas

Good home cooking. I love breakfast; It's my favorite meal of the day. I can eat it all day long. It's something about this place. It's warming and welcoming. It gives you the atmosphere as though you are eating with family even though you might not know a single sole there. You'll see regulars there and quiet a few familiar faces; Never-the-less we're all treated the same. The servers remind you of back home; Where ever that is. That feeling of being in a comfortable place. The may not be a franchise but who cares with great service like this. I wanted to also cheer the cook along as well. Along with the menu plan there is a buffet. If you love a good meal the veggies are cooked just right. To my satisfaction nothing is over cooked and the food does not look as though it has been sitting there all day. There working hard over there I really am convinced they care about their service just as much as the customers care about them. Wasn't so happy..I went with my family and the cook was taking too long with our orders.. it wasn't even busy.They need to have 2 cooks cause I only saw one lady. The waitress was nice and polite . Also when we walked in,it smelled like cigarettes.They need to remodel the bathrooms. Also a waitress got there with her son or Idk who he was to her,He may be sick,health wise. She sat him next to our table and he was caughing and he sounded like he wanted to throw up,2 waitresses rushed to him. At that point we already had our food and where eating. It just made us not want to eat anymore . We won't be going back.Unless they remodel the place and hire a better cook. Food wasnt good. I rather pay more for better food than something that I myself could have cooked and come out better.Just wanted to go out with my family and eat as a...

First and last time going here. The first thing I noticed when I entered the restaurant was how cluttered and messy the dining area was, with one booth having a pile of jeans. Many tables dirty. The people working there did not seem very friendly, one lady handed me a menu and walked off and continued talking to someone else. Never offered me to have a seat or a drink. After trying three different chairs I found one clean enough to sit on. The next lady that took my order didn’t even really speak much, no thank you or your welcome or anything. Lack of manners and service. The food was trash. The green beans taste like they were poured straight out of a can onto the plate, the mashed potatoes had no flavor or seasoning and the chicken was covered in seasoned salt. Don’t waste you time...
