I use to love going to this Popeyes but as of this recent event, I might just decide to go to another location. I ordered one box of spicy chicken and one box of original chicken along with six biscuits. The chicken was $6.99 for the special on Tuesday. When I got home, I seen that two of the boxes were spicy and that I received red beans and rice instead of the biscuits. I had to call this location over four times to even get someone to answer the phone. Mind you, the inside of the business was empty and there was only two cars on the outside when I came back to fix the order and when I had first received my order, there wasnât a line either! Finally I got someone to answer the phone and I told an employee that I received two spicy boxes of chicken instead of one spicy and one original along with red beans and rice instead of the six biscuits. The employee asked did I have the receipt and I told them no. We were supposed to receive a receipt but never did. The employee couldnât find our order so then another employee got onto the phone. The other employee was highly disrespectful, cut us off and sounded very aggressive. She looked and claimed we never had an order of biscuits, just chicken, and that the total came out to over $19. We told the lady that it was impossible for us to not have biscuits on the order yet two boxes of chicken that are $6.99 came out to over $19. Not to mention, I told her we received red beans and rice but supposedly even that wasnât supposed to be on the order. Just two boxes of chicken that came out to $19. Thatâs all. We didnât get rude with any of the two ladies we spoke to, told her that we werenât trying to be rude and the lady kept demanding to know what the issue was but would cut us off every time we talked. Finally she said we could bring the chicken back up there and that theyâd place it. We went up there to replace the wrong chicken and come to find out, we werenât even speaking to the manager on the phone! The manager was standing there In her uniform, staring as the two that spoke to my husband and I handled everything. They replaced the box of chicken but still didnât give the biscuits and that wasnât our main purpose for calling so we didnât go on about it. We took the food and they mumbled that they were sorry that they got our order wrong and we left. I figured instead of getting no where with this issue, Iâd talk to corporate so they can speak with the manager and leave a review so that people will know to be careful. They gave me original chicken strips instead of spicy in all 3 of my big boxes around 4pm when I bought them, didn't get home and realize what happened until around 9pm. I called and let Asst. Manager Rosa know what was going on and she "didn't know what to do" so she would call the GM to find out and call me back in 15 minutes. 45 min. Later I called back and they didn't answer the phone.
I called this morning and spoke with a different AM Reyna and she tells me I have to bring the food in with my receipt!!!!
What is the point in that? The food is trash once it crosses the counter. Its a simple waste calculation for the books.
It's like calling your customers liars and proving that y'all don't care that Y'ALL made a mistake. My world doesn't revolve around Popeyes. I'm not going to hold onto food and plan when I'm going back. It's called FAST FOOD for a reason. It was CONVENIENT at the time so I'm not coming back until it's CONVENIENT AGAIN!
If this Popeyes is struggling financially this is not the way to get out of the hole. (I also noticed a sign that said they charge 25 cents for extra sauce). That lets me know your location is low class and PETTY so I'm not so surprised about this "policy".
How about training staff correctly be a policy! How is Rosa an AM and she doesn't know your policy! How about making customers orders CORRECT be a policy. How about owning your mistakes when they do happen be a policy! How about not have your customers drag WASTE back into the store be a policy.
Absolutely disgusting. You will have no customer retention or referrals at this rate. THE LEAST you can do is let customers keep the food they didn't pay for and come in and get what they DID PAY for when it's convenient for them!!!!
90% of customers won't call or complain but THEY WILL NOT RETURN. So if someone complains take it seriously and handle it in a way that makes your customers happy. Not make them feel like they are liars and have to bring proof.
I guarantee your customers (Like myself) will NEVER spend another penny with you after seeing how your location handles their mistakes!!!!! Staff is not trained properly and you have RIDICULOUS policies!!!! Newsflash your not the only Popeyes in town!!!! People will go out of their way for good customer service!!!
