Went in for an appointment for a tattoo but my artist left the shop for undisclosed reasons and I got put with another artist they recommended. He had a broken leg come to find out from a bar fight. He charged me $300 for an hour and 20 minutes or so of work that was extremely rushed and sloppy. He literally shaded outside the lines and the work doesn't look good at all. Went in later to have it fixed by a different artist (Eric) who did it just as rushed and made the mess even worse. Keep in mind the entire time the artists upstairs were telling me it's great custom work that the previous artist had done and Russ was laughing going "it has to be perfect" mocking me. Owner never contacted me back. I've been to multiple other tattoo shops and they said it can't be covered up- it's solid black. See for yourself and ask yourself if you would like to support a business like this.

Read moreIf you're looking to have any kind of tattoo done, then I highly recommend Royal Ave Tattoo as the place to get it done. Some people make call me silly, but it was my first tattooing experience and I put a lot of time and thought into whether or not I wanted to get a tattoo to begin with before even settling on an idea. So it was important to me to have not only a talented artist complete the job, but an artist that was happy and proud of his work do it. I RECOMMEND DAVID AS A TATTOO ARTIST. He's a very easy-going guy, hilarious to converse with, and truly made my idea come to life in the best ways possible. All of the people here are very easy-going, and easy to converse with. You, absolutely, cannot go wrong with choosing Royal Ave Tattoo for your next tattoo. I added a picture below of my tattoo just because there wasn't any examples of script in any of the portfolios by the front desk, but he truly did he a fantastic job. I am so...
Read moreI came here a few years (around 2016-2017) ago to get a septum piercing. Note: i knew my septum was deviated and i knew that the result wouldnt be perfectly symmetrical. Even then the piercing lady at the time was very rude about, in her words, not even touching/going near my nose. I wouldve been okay if she just said shes not confident in her skills to work with a deviated septum but she made it seem like it was utterly impossible. We left this place and went to biolab piercing studio and they said it was ridiculous that she said she couldn't do it at all. They had no second thought in telling me that they would have to pierce at a certain angle to make it look even, but that there was no problem. Years later my septum piercing is perfectly healed, ive had zero problems with it. I wouldn't have given 1 star if she was just upfront in saying she didn't want to do it but she had to make it seem like there...
