Aldanbertos Mexican Food # 2 — Restaurant in Spring

Food is absolutely delicious and very fast for authentic and fresh food. Service is always great and friendly.

1 star removed because I’ve noticed a few times that they’ll upsell you without your consent. Which in itself is a blind robbery. I just called to express my concern because if I order something it means either it’s all I can consume, worst case can only afford & to increase your sales you would up-charge without the customers consent. That is so not cool and unethical. If I ask for a large drink (but really getting an XL) it’s because it’s all I want so while you profit I end up tossing the rest out. Imagine that a several times a week though.

I hope you all can fix this as I’m sure it’s being done to people who don’t pay attention but that’s predatory and greed.

I don’t leave many reviews, but this place deserves some recognition. They just opened around the corner from me, and I might be in trouble. Food was excellent for the price (it’s hard to get a full Mexican cuisine dinner for under $14 anymore). Honestly, I grade restaurants by their salsas, and this spot had a chunky salsa that was both spicy and teaming with flavor. I don’t eat carbs and they were more than able to make my dinner into more of a salad than plate, no questions asked. They were slammed but the staff was on it. Food came out hot, fresh, and delicious. I wouldn’t say the food was crazy better than the other Mexican restaurants around (there are some pretty good restaurants in my area) but the price and the salsa/jalapeño self serve bar was a huge plus for me! THEY NEED TO UPDATE THEIR TIMES THAT THEY’RE OPEN. THEY ARE NOT A 24 HR DRIVE THRU BE WARNED. We took a 30 min drive just for them to be closed even though their drive thru and google maps say they’re opened 24 hours. They have no clear indication of when they’re closed. Very sad. The food is amazing and it’s honestly disheartening to see that they can’t even disclose what times they are opened/closed. We sat in the drive thru for 3-5 minutes constantly checking if someone would answer the telecom where you order, and there was no one to be heard. On top of that we pulled around to the window and saw that the kitchen had lights on but no one in sight. IF YOU’RE GOING TO SAY YOU’RE OPENED 24 HRS ACTUALLY BE 24 HRS. DON’T LIE AND JUST HOPE NO ONE WILL VISIT IN THE MIDDLE...
