I walked into this place and was immediately met with screaming. The hostess told me “Get out! We do not serve cops!” I was shocked that this since i was wearing my nursing uniform. After realizing his mistake he sat me at a table with people I have never met. I requested to move and he called me names i cannot repeat. I asked for water and was given something that resembled a clear motor oil. I cant say i was pleased… but at this point I was fascinated. I don’t think I’ve ever been to a place like this… besides maybe a dream I had of being imprisoned in North Korea. It got even better at this “restaurant” when the waiter served my food and took a hair out of my soup with his bare hands before walking away. Before leaving I went to the bathroom…. or “bathroom” I should say since they led me into a closet due to the bathroom being closed. While this closet had a barely functioning toilet and a bucket of water, it had an ungodly smell, partly because no one seemed to have changed the toilet in days. To continue with my experience, the friendly folks I sat with seemed to have the same strange experience. Before I left I went to pay and the waiter said I owe him a 25% tip after being one of the worst waiters I’ve had. The next morning I can that my new experience on the toilet was between the a dam breaking open, a night after taco bell and giving birth. I was in pain, agony and I was on the toilet all day. To make matters worse I had a job interview that day… you can guess how that went when I had Rose Mary’s baby coming out of my intestines. I don’t know what they put in their “food” but i’ve had better eating out of my...
Read moreI lived in the nearby neighborhood for years and I have never tried this place until today because whenever I passed by it’s always looking empty. So my sister in law convinced me to give it a try because one of her friends came by this place the other day and says it was pretty good. As soon as we stepped in, we didn’t even get the chance to sit down and the server was like rushing us to order the drinks. Place got no AC, they have 2 portable fans on and it was hot hot, it was like a spa up in there. The food was horrendous, the sakura roll tasted nasty as I could tell it wasn’t fresh, my niece even spitted it out in her napkin. The chicken udon was very salty while the wonton soup was bland. The pineapple fried rice of course was also bad so does the beef fried rice. On top of that, the server didn’t give us no napkins we have to flagged him down and he gave us 4 napkins for 5 people. Didn’t even gave us spoons nor bowls or sauce plates for our sushi while the place was empty with just two tables including mine, still the service was so bad that I really wanted to walk out. Even my brother who is not even picky has something to say about the service so was my niece. So no y’all, don’t waste your time and your money at...
Read moreDecided to come here for lunch. Interior is very clean and modern, but they just opened not long ago. They have both chinese and japanese food. Sadly, only a few vegetarian option, and only one choice for lunch special, which is the plain old stir fry mix vegetable. How original. Most of the items are on the pricey side. I ordered the chicken katsu lunch bento. The miso soup was good, lots of tofu and seaweed. They didnt ask me which dressing for the salad, so i guess theres only ine option, which is the orange one with a lot of oil (i dont know the name). I prefer the creamy sauce. When my katsu came, i noticed the katsu isnt fried. I called the manager-looking guy, and he said the katsu chicken is not fried. I insisted and he said he will check with the kitchen. Later he came and apologized and said they mixed up and it was for another table, and my katsu is on the way. Finally the katsu came. The chicken is not really tender and a bit dry. Not the best i had. Would only come again if im...
