I just ordered from the drive thru service. I ordered a hot chai tea latte. I am not going to lie I did not specify what size I wanted. The young lady did not even bother to ask me what size I wanted and assumed I wanted a large size. I get to the window and I asked what size this was and her response was your order is large if you do not specify. That dissapointed me in so many ways but I took my drink anyways. That is taking advantage of people’s pockets. Now you know damn well everyone has different pockets and just because I can afford a large drink does not give the facility the reason to just assume everyone wants a Large drink. The young lady still had the nerve to tell me to have a good day even after seeing the disgust on my face from her service, instead of saying would you like a smaller size. I will NOT be returning to this scooters on fry and saums road. I hope management sees this bad review and corrects this by training their staff with better customer service. Read moreI've come to this Scooter's Coffee location since they have opened, however I have noticed that since a change of staff and especially management over the course of the last year, the service and quality of the beverages and food have shown a continuous decline and it shows that the corporation pays no attention to it. I have been told that this location is owned by Scooter's Coffee corporate, which is truly a shame considering the poor management. When I last came through, I received and was charged for a large drink although I explicitly asked for small. They made it nearly impossible to get a refund so that I could be charged correctly, so I just let it go. When I was telling the girl that I've been coming since you guys opened and have seen a drastic change in the management of this store, she told me that the Store Manager has a romantic relationship with a barista. I get to the window pay and tip them on the app (15%) and when the young lady hands me a drink she hands me my latte and a straw, then she hands me an iced americano, I proceed to tell her that I didn’t order it iced and that I ordered it hot and the lady that took my order came to the window and said, “You said iced (as she proceeded to hand me the iced drink through the window) and I’m pretty sure you did because I took your order” (as she has her hand almost in my car) and I said to her “I never get iced I’m pretty sure I said hot because I mix my two coffees” (as I felt obligated to take the coffee that was in my face)
