Kids Empire Katy — Attraction in Katy

The facilities are very clean. We recently held a birthday party here and while all the people were very friendly, the truth is the party was a hot mess. We had a very lovely lady assigned to be the point person be for the party but I think she was also responsible for the 3 other parties happening and she was around for set up, she brought the pizzas, and eventually she cut the cake. Whenever we have had parties at other kids facilities, the parties are always very well coordinated where the party person assists with making sure the kids and guests get served food and drinks, they tell you when things will happen because they are on a schedule to get things done and they usually have another party to prep for. My husband had to go find someone to give us gloves so we can serve the pizza and drinks to the kids. I ordered a chocolate cake online for my son and when they called to confirm the count they confirmed I had ordered a chocolate cake—and we got vanilla. And it was the stalest driest cake ever. The manager and another worker did come by to ask if we needed anything —and the manager also told me and a guest our group was the nicest because we didn’t complain or berate their workers (don’t do that folks—please treat people with respect)—but honestly our guests and I did not have a great experience. He mentioned something about the workers not handling the food because they are not food safe but then why are they selling and serving food? There was a huge line at check in and it took our guests a long time to get in. It seems that there was a lot of confusion about where people had to go if they had not filled out the waiver beforehand. I also didn’t see a lot of supervision in the play area—there was one girl who was doing double duty and running back and forth between Huggy dancing and watching the kids in the motorized cars and trying to keep them from getting hurt. I saw another female worker tell a male worker who was in the middle of sweeping to tell the kids not to take the balloons into the play area. Overall it seems that either they are understaffed or sufficiently staffed but only half the people there actually work. Not sure which it is. I do not plan on hosting a party...

If you would like a no hassle birthday party, this is a fantastic option!

Kids Empire, Katy location hosted our son’s 5th birthday party! Saying the kids had a blast, is an understatement. The facility is clean and well taken care off. The staff was welcoming, friendly, helpful and so much more. Anniet hosted my son’s party, and as you can see in the attached photos, she did an amazing job! Anniet was a patient party hostess, who ensured everything was on schedule and that photos were captured. Thank you!

We chose the snack & cake package, 18 kids total: Pros: -Includes 3 hours, pizza, a variety of beverages, fruit snacks, invitations, party favors, cake (not customizable), 1 return card for birthday child, allows outside food with the exclusion of ice cream. -Includes a host— who sets up the decorations and directs the party. Decorations can 1. be dropped off day before, 2. 30 minutes before or 3. they provide and set up. The more time the better outcome guys. -Includes 1 bumper vehicle ride for each party guest (this was loaded on 1 play card)

Kids Empire is an absolute gem for families! I have an 11-year-old and a 9-year-old, and they have so much energy. They always complain about getting bored at home. When my friend introduced me to Kids Empire, I was relieved to have a place where they could burn off their energy and have fun. It’s a perfect spot for kids to play and enjoy themselves.

We visit different locations for playdates, and each one offers something new. The play area is huge, clean, and filled with a variety of fun activities for all ages—whether it’s climbing structures, interactive games, or even a mini soccer playfield, there’s something for everyone. The staff is friendly and attentive, and the safety measures they have in place really put parents at ease.

The facility is well-maintained, and the atmosphere is vibrant and welcoming. Plus, they offer a great selection of snacks and drinks. “One great feature is that you can play there, have lunch at a nearby restaurant, and then return to continue playing.” It’s an ideal place for birthday parties, playdates, or just a fun day out.
