I called to ensure the side-by-side refrigerator with the Smart Hub was still available. I set up a time to visit the store and inspect my refrigerator after one day of thinking it over, I called, and the refrigerator was delivered at no cost the next day. I love the Smart Hub's setting options. They are spectacular. I set it to Greet me morning, afternoon, and night. It gives me an uplifting statement as scheduled. Also, it is an encouraging statement for morning, afternoon, and/or bedtime. It literally makes meal planning and grocery list, and it keeps you updated on everything in your refrigerator. It sends you notifications on what may be expiring soon...ect. The list goes on and on... I mean, on and on...tap the Smart Hub to view what's in your fridge without opening the door. I also love listening to recipes or even soft music while I'm in my kitchen all by speaking to my Smart Hub (yes, Alexa play.....that simple. After looking at different places to buy our appliances, including other scratch and dent stores, we are SO glad we found Katy Discounted Appliances! After a move across the country, we had just purchased a new house and needed a new refrigerator, washer and dryer. This was our first time buying brand new appliances. This store made it possible to get all three at once at a price we could afford. They were very attentive to our wish list and our space issues (we needed a fridge that could fit in a spot too small for many fridge options). I ended up with the fridge I had previously hoped for but wondered if we could find at a price we could afford. I really wanted a side by side door fridge with a beverage center. They had the exact model I was hoping for with the beautiful white doors! Plus we were able to get a great price for matching a washer and dryer that weren't an exact set (they had others that were an exact set, we just didn't care that much about matching perfectly), but the match really actually fits my personality well. (White washing machine with rose gold accent and black dryer with rose gold accent). William and the team there made everything very easy, and it's clear the appliances they sell are worth it! They had minor scratches on them that are barely visible (on the side of the machine, and even the little ones on the dryer door aren't very noticeable unless pointed out).

Since we got 3 items at once, we were able to get free delivery and installation including the accessories (I had no idea that stores typically sell the accessories separate).

The delivery was running late (to no fault of their own), and William even came in person to apologize and make sure all went well. We have already been recommending them to everyone who we know is looking for new appliances! Katy Discounted Appliances is...

Good service as they kept coming back. They were here for 3 days in a row, but the initial delivery of a simple over the stove microwave was a bit rough. The microwave was not leveled correctly and then when I pointed it out, the gentleman fixed it but did not have a level for proper installation. I had one. That’s fine, but come dinner time, I was trying to defrost something and tried 3 times.

No heat! It was unbelievable.

They came back the next day with another unit. It was installed, but when I went to check it for heating with a bag of popcorn before letting the delivery and installation guys leave, the front panel kept popping open when I opened the microwave door and the door itself seemed off kilter. And then the bottom of the unit and corner had been dented, so there were some cosmetic issues. I just mentioned it because the door panel got me nervous. Something wasn’t clipping closed.

They brought a new one the 3rd day with the tech actually installing it. He didn’t climb on the counters. He pulled my stove out and really did a professional installation and the item works great. Been a few days now.

Service, great. Love that it’s veteran owned, but it did not need to take 3 days of me moving my work schedule and kids’ summer plans around as I have minor children in the home and they came after lunch time to 6pm and then before/around noon the other 2 days. It was a lot that maybe a simple quality control check back at their warehouse could have helped.
