I received a flyer on my door at home for this restaurant so on today MY BIRTHDAY I decided to use the flyer. I never knew this place was here until I saw the flyer on my door. So I came to the location and when I walked in it wasn’t a welcoming atmosphere to begin with. So I was seated than we were greeted by Elva a server who was extremely friendly and kind. I ordered and asked can I have my pancakes come after I eat my eggs & grits because I didn’t want it be cold and she said ok. Than the manager named Anthony told her she couldn’t do that, so she came back and told me the manager said she wasn’t allowed to do so. So I asked her to send a manager over and when he came over he was timid and didn’t want to really come to the table. When he came to the table I explain to him I didn’t want my pancake to get cold so I asked can I have it made when I’m almost ready for it. He stated that it’s company policy and he can’t alter it. The restaurant had three tables in the building with customers were seated. It wasn’t a packed house at all. I told him this was my first time coming because I received a flyer on my door and because of his attitude this will be my last time coming. Anthony said sorry to hear that and walked away. So I canceled my order and paid for our drinks and left. This restaurant will never see me again. I don’t know if the manager didn’t want to help me because of the color of my skin or what. The manager Anthony went to all the other tables that had customer sitting in them and check to see how they were doing and he never came to our table to see how we were doing. That’s rude behavior. All the other tables had Caucasian people sitting at them. I do know this establishment have cameras on the inside so maybe somebody needs a rollback the cameras and see how rude he was to the table with three black women sitting at a table. So I will go where I...

My husband and I shared a traditional eggs benedict. This was ok. The English muffin was super soft and sweet, again not bad, but odd. The hollandaise was definitely missing some flavor. We also split the cajun benedict which was also alright but lacking flavor. The cornbread was quite dry even with all the egg and sauce. I am super lenient with breakfast EXCEPT when breakfast is $10+ per plate...... then you better make me some exceptional breakfast. It just wasn't even good. They definitely need to rethink their attitude toward customer service. If you are going to blow your "local small business" horn and try to be part of the community, you need to be neighborly... We totally get the whole "don't bring outside food to a restaurant" thing. We agree, it's rude and we don't do this. However, I am hugely offended by the sign on the door stating "no outside food, not even water bottles or food for children who are picky eaters". I happen to feel very strongly that it is every parent's right to choose what they wish to feed their children. We chose to feed our 18 month old some of your food, which we paid for. However, if we came in and bought 3 adult plates and decided we wanted our toddler to eat fresh, healthier food from home, I feel that we should be able to do that and not feel the slightest bit guilty. We spent a good deal of money for your food, the $5 kids meal isn't...
