I am not what you would call a local. I was visiting from out of town and my friends suggested I try this local favorite called "Subway". I was confused because there is no metro system at all in Pecos, but I was in on the cute play on words once I got there. They don't serve exclusively submarine sandwiches, but they also have a large variety of chips, a small selection of soups, a create your own salad option, and a soda fountain. The food was nice, but you had to stand in line to place your order which is inconvenient, I would say. The air conditioning would have been nice had it not already turned dark outside (it was freezing). After I placed my order and paid, I had to seat myself which was a little awkward because I'm used to my waitress introducing me to my seat. At no time did my waitress come by to refill my drink or ask if I needed anything. I suspect that they assumed I had no cash to tip them with. I'm not happy about that but nor would I say I'd do differently in their same situation. The atmosphere was nice enough. The decorations were brilliantly coloured with lush greens, reds, and yellows, unlike the ingredients of my sandwich. I would come back again but maybe I'll take it to-go next time. There was an alarmingly large amount of to-go orders while I was enjoying my sandwich, which made me incredibly skeptical about the sanitary state of the in door seating. Read moreMy wife went into subway. One employee that dislikes my wife for whatever reason started recording my wife trying to hide in the corner and laughing! Immature little kids that are disrespectful never going back to that place she also just threw our soup on the counter. She should be terminated I will be contacting the manager also since they can't answer the phone. But i will leave this bad review just in case nothing happens .
Update: I called the manager and he had told me we were not telling the truth so I guess subway employees are allowed to record everyone without any problem manager should Lose his position for not taking action. He actually lied himself saying he was on the cameras all day and didn't see nothing. Sad to say we can't even go to this subway for that reason. Poor management...
Read moreWhen it comes to any subway, I've been to a lot. Normal customer service would be to greet with a smile or welcoming greeting to make it feel comfortable right. Don't get me wrong, they do have good food, and they do take the time to get your order right, but a lot of the time, they almost look like they hate their jobs.
