When traveling through west Texas, I will definitely stay at this hotel again. Immaculately clean rooms, beautiful lobby, helpful staff, business room, pool, gym, laundry facility, free breakfast...this place has everything you could possibly need. I booked a suite with a separate bedroom. The kitchen is complete with a two burner range, full-size dishwasher, full-size microwave, and full-size fridge, as well as a toaster and coffee maker. The beds were super comfortable! My favorite thing about Staybridge Suites - they have soft pillows and firm pillows, and they’re labeled as such. I have a bad neck, and this is the first time a chain’s offered me a pillow! They had me at SOFT PILLOW! I’m a forever fan! To boot, in the shower I found these three beauties - JR Watkins Shampoo, Conditioner, and Shower Gel! Thanks for a great stay, Staybridge Suites.

Wi-Fi password was written in such sloppy handwriting that we couldn’t get it to work without going to the front desk for clarification. Key stopped working second afternoon - unpleasant hassle with staff to get keys reset. 4 knives and spoons, only 2 forks 1-2 stars for Happy Hour & food - wings, salad bar & beer plus cheap/bad wine Chicken wings and salad bar Monday evenings and taco Tuesdays (and nachos) Suite has “full” kitchen. Bare minimal cooking pot and tools. Room closet is hard to open - stuck hardware Free laundry - washer short cycle was fast but dryer took forever to dry. Laundry room door won’t open with short term guest key - Long-term stay people can use the laundry room door. We are only staying two nights and had to enter through the gym. Laundry basket in room was cracked with sharp edges.

The room itself is very nice. Like a small apartment. Full fridge, couple of burners to cook with pots and pans, cups, plates, utensils, and a dish washer provided. However... The towels are horrible. Super rough. Doesn't feel too well when drying off. Also, found some trash in my room. Looks like it was hidden under the bench that's to the left of the bed, not a big deal. I would of rated it higher but they also post the 30.06 and 30.07 signs. 30.07 is understandable, even though it's a texas law. Kinda like our constitution where it says "shall not be infringed". Thsts a major turn off and in my future travels I will request a different location. I've stayed in pretty much all the hotels in town and this one I'd rate number 2, with number 1 being the Swiss Chalet.

I came to spend time with my husband who is working down here. I researched hotels for days this one kept coming back to me so after much consideration I chose this one. I love the idea of been able to supply him with home-cooked meals. I also chose this hotel because I have a 10-year-old son and they have a heated pool. When we first got here after an all day drive our shower didn’t work, we sat all evening and all day the next day waiting to be moved we couldn’t unpack or shower ,we couldn’t cook our meals.

Finally around 3 PM we got another room. We got ready to take My Son swimming and we were told the pool was closed for maintenance found out late that night that it was open that maintenance is always on Mondays. The phones do not work in any of the rooms so we can’t call the desk so we’re on the third floor running up and down constantly to get things settled. We ran out of toilet paper paper towels and trash bags we had to make numerous trips down to the front office to get things only to be told we had to get them from our housekeeper which we've never had a housekeeper and we’re on the last day of our stay. We did not know what to do with our trash in our room or our dirty linen finally on the third day after my son went back downstairs to the front desk to ask for These items we were told we had to get them from our housekeeper.

We also have no hot water (which they are aware of, they said let it run for about 10 minutes) nor enough towels and wash cloths for the three people. I called corporate About my complaints so they called the front desk here and they could never get an answer they said they would email me with a resolution I’ve never heard from anybody.

I paid right at $700 for four nights and I have no use of any of the amenities my stay has been a nightmare. My trash even sits outside my door for hours when I set it out, at this point I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. It is a beautiful facility it just goes to show you that you can’t judge a book by its cover. The evening gentleman than works the desk is very helpful and friendly. Seems to know more of what's going on. Most staff seems friendly, just cant speak any English and I don't speak Spanish so... We can't communicate.

They do have a free washer and dryer for you to use, that was pleasant. We need to stay one more night due to schedule change but I'm not sure we should try to stay here.

I hope you all have a way more pleasant...

The location is great! Very close and convenient to the highway, yet just far enough that the road noise can’t be heard from the room. Very close to Walmart and a lot of food and gas options near by. The lobby is pretty and inviting. The man at the front desk was very friendly and informative. Clean, comfortable and spacious rooms. Nice kitchenette and sectional sofa! The continental breakfast was a bit disappointing but that’s to be expected, considering the circumstances. The choices were bowls of pre-poured cereal, yogurt, and whole pieces of fruit wrapped in plastic. I would love to give a higher review however.... I chose this hotel because of the indoor pool, (which I feel offers a bit more privacy from the parking lot, hotel windows and such). Instead of the water being normal pool-blue, it was lime green! It looked like a pond! The man at the front desk assured us that the water was totally normal and that the pool just needed to be re-painted from having been shut down for so long due to COVID. I’m not sure how painting the pool would change the color of the water. You could see that the stairs, (and probably the rest of the pool) were white, so the green color had to come from the water, not from the surface of the pool itself. Needless to say, we did not swim. If you are counting on using the pool, I highly recommend calling ahead of time to make sure all is well. It may have very well been clean and good to go but it just...

They were able to accommodate on short notice. Beautiful new building. I believe they were having the evening socials, but we weren’t able to participate.

Thank you for having hot breakfast— others in this chain for some reason are not offering and the nightly rate is just too high not to include the breakfast meal.

Pool and gym were open for use, thanks for this! The laundry facilities were also available, but the dyer in the middle and farthest to the left did not dry clothes all the way —-we had to leave on short notice because or job site got re-assigned, but I know we would’ve enjoyed our long stay at this location. Beds were super comfortable and kitchenette was wonderful to have!

One area of improvement would be the evening front desk crew... they either need more training or authority/empowerment to provide customer service instead of telling customers to wait until morning for very simple demands.

The con under breakfast was due to the odd set up and minimal offerings, but considering the location I’m in right now doesn’t even have hot breakfast I’m thankful for the Pecos location’s hot...
