Taqueria El Bronco is a small, family-owned restaurant that has been serving authentic Mexican food in Katy for over 20 years. I've been to Taqueria El Bronco several times, and I've always been impressed with the quality of the food. My favorite dish is the seafood tostadas. The tostadas are made with fresh corn tortillas, topped with a generous amount of grilled shrimp, crab, and avocado. The salsa is also delicious, and it really brings the dish together.

Other dishes that I recommend include the tacos al pastor, the carnitas burrito, and the chiles rellenos. The tacos al pastor are made with marinated pork that is cooked on a vertical spit. The carnitas burrito is filled with shredded pork that is cooked in a delicious sauce. And the chiles rellenos are made with poblano peppers that are stuffed with cheese and then fried.

Use to eat here often when I lived in the area. I was in the area the other night and stopped in. Ordered a caldo de camarón with only shrimp like I have in the past never had no issues just getting shrimp, but got shrimp and fish instead, I told the waitress about it and she was confused about what to do, she then said that's how the soup is and offered if I wanted something else so I choose something else, didn't think nothing of it until I saw my bill where they still charged me for the soup I didn't even eat along with what I chose instead. I assumed I would get charged one or another but not both. I told her about it and was told they had to charge me for the soup because they couldn't sell it anymore since I had come in contact with it. Food is good. I come for the menudo. But lately the menudo is to spicy. Also ladies could be a bit more friendly.

Also Ladies are NOT wearing masks as they should. Hope health department doesn't show up or they will be in trouble.

Tried the #74 today 11th Jul 21and I have to say portion was super small. Usually order #2 and I use all 4 tortillas but today that was suppose to be a bigger dish portions used were really small.
