Whataburger — Restaurant in Cypress

update: Still wish I could rate this location a zero. Went here about a week ago to see if the rating would improve and it failed. We ordered to go and it took 35 minutes. Employees were getting food but not us. When I asked where our food was and why employees were getting theirs first I was told that our food was in the heating location for pick up and that the fries were being cooked. Needless to say, the food was COLD and the order surprise surprise was wrong. Now the really disgusting part, there were kids licking the doors of the restaurant and the staff just watched them to it. How disgusting. I waited almost a year to come back here with the hope it had improved but this was the last time. I will not be updating this review again. This location really needs to close down. There is another location down the street so I suggest go the extra couple of miles and go there instead.

This was the worst. I waited a few days to write this so that I could calm some before I reviewed this location. What has happened here? It used to be great but now it is disappointing. The drive thru was extra long so I went inside. Only 1 person in front of me. 8 minutes later I placed my order of chicken strips (nothing customized). 48 minutes later I got my order. Others in the restaurant were getting angry. People's orders were coming out in the wring order. The manager there was questioned by other people several times and she was so rude to them. I was horrified by her behavior. One worker was cleaning trays and another was just scooping fries. Needless to say, my food was cold when I finally got it. The manager handed it to me and said, I tossed in some apple pies. Wow...I would rather have gotten an apology for the wait. I will go to another location until this one...

So I don't usually leave reviews on places if the experience wasn't good I'll just not eat there again but I love Whataburger and it makes me extremely sad that this experience has dampened my views on their chain. So my wife ordered from this location through Uber today which is normally not an issue but for whatever reason the order was made incorrectly no big deal right I'll just call the store have it remade and go grab it for her. Mind you my wife is pregnant so the slightest adjustment to what she is craving and I'm likely to be wearing vomit. So I called the store and spoke to the manager Maria explained the situation to her and her response to me was that she made the order so it had to have been correct and confirmed that she read the order directly from the order screen even though I'm explaining to her that I'm holding the food in my hand and it is not what we ordered. So instead of just having what my wife was craving for lunch we were almost forced to just get a refund and find another place to eat. Poor management training displayed the whole situation could have been avoided with a simple I understand accidents happen your remade sandwiches will be ready shortly. Great job Maria you handled a long time customer...

Update: it has been 3 years since my last review and they are still a one. We had two hamburgers, 1 order of fries and a drink. Both burgers were wrong. They were not even close to being correct. The toppings were wrong, they were very cold and mushy. To top this off, the store was doing a promotion sip tasting of a new drink and I was treated very badly and not able to get a taste because I did not speak Spanish. The lady giving them out would not give me or another couple samples because we could not speak with her about the drink. I had some hope after 3 years but it disappointed again. I will continue to go to the one down the street. This location is a total loss. So a previous review was bad and I am sad to report that it has not improved. Two cars in the drive thru and 1 person inside when we arrived. We went inside to get a to go order. 26 minutes later I had to ask for our food, after seeing countless drive thru orders being processed. Our food was sitting there and just had not been given to us. The food naturally was cold and not very good. No one at this location seems to care anymore. I will no longer come to this store. At least we gave them a second chance but...
