My mom brought some leftovers from this place and they were really good, although cold because they were leftovers, so I figured that maybe freshly made they'd be even better. So for mother's day I decided to go get some fresh hot food from there with the kids. The staff wasn't bad, but they weren't great either. The cashier guy acted like he was bored and was only working there for the money and not because he liked it. I guess that's understandable given today's economy, and maybe I'm old fashioned, but I feel they could at least try to change the vibe for the customer, like a more welcoming experience instead of making us feel like we're inconveniencing them 😬 I mean, it wasn't a bad experience, but it did leave us not really feeling the place.
To make matters worse, the food wasn't as great as Mom's left overs. Maybe I should have order the meat mixed or something? It all tasted the same to me. Nothing in the sampler tasted any different from the regular tacos or the papa asada with meat. The grilled onion was good and so were the salsas. The food wasn't that bad, but it wasn't that great either, had me thinking I could make these dishes better and save money if I just cooked at home. But because it wasn't that bad, I'd probably still try them out one more time and maybe ask for mixed meats to see if that makes a difference. I'd also probably still recommend, but I do hope the employees step...
Read moreWorst customer service! Place an order 1 week ago to-go and I got home realizing there was a mistake on my order and the tripa couldn’t eat it because you could literally felt ROCKS in the tripa!! called back to give a complaint nicely. They didn’t want to accept responsibility even though my order was wrong and the tripa was un edible. They said just to send a picture of receipt. Went back today 9/15 and this “LA LADY TACOS” tried to hide and being snitch about it talking unprofessionally outside on the back of the restaurant that the order was given back to me! Which is a total lie! They excused themselves saying they have cameras and that they had messages between them stating it was me with the same “name” and “receipt number” getting food back! Which is a lie I took the pic send it and threw it away!! Lie after lie!! I said “well show me, prove it was me?!” they called police locking doors for me not stepping inside and get confronted about the situation proving it was never me. For sure I’m suing this unethical place, will report it to health department and NEVER coming back!!! All this for 1 order of tacos!!...
Read moreI was excited to eat here because everyone I know said it's a good place to eat, they didn't mention if you like to eat grease! I had the five tacos ,a drink and extra small beans, and grease all for 16.45$!!! For one person!! Now the tacos were fully loaded with beef and grease , the tortillas were extra small for the pile of bistex/beef that was on top. The grilled onions were very greasy and from the day before. The beans were not reheated properly and were luke warm by time I got them. There is roll of paper towels on the table and you need everyone single one of those paper towels. I can get better tacos for a lesser price from the truck vendors on business 83rd. and they won't be greasy. Seriously if they are going to charge that much money, at least make the tortillas a bit bigger and cut back on the grease. This place should be called Taqueria...
