We tried a few different places so far. Kids wanted to try the bubble tea's. They got the raspberry tea, with strawberry sinkers in the bottom of it. The tea was really good. And the sinkers in the bottom, weren't chewy like the ones we've tried before. These were crisp, so you could actually POP them in your mouth. The others are like chewing rubberbandsthwn you get flavor from it. This tea was really refreshing and everyone enjoyed it. Previous to tonight we tried the burger place and it was pretty good. Large burger however you want it. Many different HOME style burgers prepared in different ways. Last night we ate at the Caribbean Jerk place. Got the chicken, over a bed of Jamaican rice with red beans and corn, sweet potatoes. Chicken had a ton of flavor. Smoky chicken with jerk seasoning on it. Really good.! Sweet potatoes were candied and ohhh so sweet! The Carribean corn was good. The flavor is distinct to Carribean, so its defferent. We were given a sample of the mac N' cheese. It is REALLY cheesy with garlic. I'm not a huge cheese person, so it was overwhelming for me, but cheese lovers should really enjoy it.! Was around $19 for one plate. Next stop we tried some Barria tacos from the place just to the left of the Caribbean food place. The tacos were good. They offered chicken or barbacoa meat for their tacos. Tender meat, came with 3 tacos and the dipping sauce. Tacos were layered over a bed of red onions. I dont do onions, so that never got touched, but tacos were pretty good.! Was about $15 for 3 tacos. Lastly and definitely not least by any means, we tried Chicken Headz. We got the surf N' turf bowl. Came with (3) jumbo shrimp and a few pieces of chicken.in a bowl, they lay out a bed of krinkle-cut French fries. Then they pour on some mac-N-cheese. Lastly they top it off with the meats. (3) Jumbo shrimp were the best shrimp, hands down we have ever eaten! A slight smoky taste, but covered in the lemon-hot sauce they have.. 😍😍 the fried chicken pieces were also cover in the same sauce. (You get to pick between about 8 different flavors/ heat levels). We also tried the chicken sliders from there. Was (2) large chicken tenders, deep fried and covered in the sauce flavor/heat level of your pick. Came with a basket of krinkle-cut fries, also. And each came with a canned drink. Was about $40 for the 2 entrees. Really clean facility. Concrete and astroturf make up the...
Read moreMy wife has family up in Cleveland and they have been telling us about this place, so we've been wanting to try this place for a while now... My wife decided to surprise me for my birthday and take me here on New Years.... Most of the food trucks were closed, but a few were open, after walking around and trying to decide which food truck to try, we settled on the Japanese food truck... We ordered the rock n roll sushi roll, the chicken teriyaki, and the egg rolls.... The rock n roll had avocado, cream cheese, and crab meat inside and topped with eel sauce, spicy mayo, crunchy mix, and had fish egg stuff on it... They were really delicious, tasted fresh, not like a cheap sushi roll, the chicken teriyaki was amazing, real good quality chunks of chicken in an almost authentic sweet teriyaki glaze, I was very impressed with this dish, it came with a generous portion of chicken, white rice, and steamed broccoli.... The egg rolls were excellent, a little fishy, but overall very good, the sweet chili sauce that came with it was delicious... After dinner we got strawberry con crema, mangonada, and a cup of Mexican corn... The mangonada was pretty solid, just wish it had more mangos, the strawberry con crema was very refreshing, the added shaved almonds added a certain element that I've never had with strawberry con crema, it was very good.... The cup of corn was really good, first time I've seen shredded parmesan cheese instead of grated.... Overall this place was pretty cool, it had a variety of music playing on the loudspeakers and had a pretty cool set up for kids to run around and play.... Will definitely be...
Read moreI tried the boba tea and the Caribbean place. The boba tea was NOT good, it was gritty. I ordered the matcha milk tea and the mango tea lemonade, and a mango smoothie. The milk product they use is coffee mate powdered creamer. It makes everything gritty. There was NO matcha flavor. The mango tea lemonade had absolutely no tea flavor, just basically sugar water. The smoothie ended up separating by the time my daughter got halfway done with it and had little to no mango flavor to it, and it was also gritty. I spent $25 on 3 drinks. The Caribbean place I ordered the curry chicken, although it did not taste bad, it had very little flavor, and the beans and rice tasted like they came from a box. The rice grains were crunchy. I took it home and added a bunch more seasoning to it and recooked the rice for it to have flavor. Their mac a cheese was really good and the spicy cabbage was decent. My husband got food at the Vietnamese place for the kimchi fries and you can't even taste the kimchi at all. And the fries were sub par. All of this was pretty pricey and very...
