Troy's Donuts — Restaurant in Texas

We used to love Troy’s. Lately, something is off. I went in this morning for a boudin kolache before work, and was given sausage. I walked back inside, told them this was definitely not boudin, and I have an ALLERGY to something in their sausage. I had blindly already taken a bite. My fault. So I handed her the kolache back and asked for a new one. She obliged, and ran and made the presumable new boudin kolache and brought me the new bag. Again, I blindly took a bite because why would they do that twice. Wrong. Handed me another spicy sausage!!! I took it back in again, and handed it to them. The guy states I should just keep it. I told him, AGAIN, I do not eat their sausage as I’m ALLERGIC to an ingredient used in them. I don’t understand what going on, absolutely a first world problem, but please take people’s allergies serious when they express them to you, even if they’re mild. Signed, Very...

I've been here 5 or 6 times and tried several different things. Customer service was unfriendly every time. The kolaches were pretty good. I imagine this is what makes the place popular. They have a good variety of selection and the meats are generally pretty good but the boudin was not the best and there's nothing special about the bread. The donut fingers were underwhelming. Had an eclair and a cake donut that tasted about like you would/should expect. My favorite thing is the croissants. Sausage bacon egg and cheese or ham bacon egg and cheese. Don't get to see that combo too often. I do think they could have tasted better and they are always just kind of thrown...

Went in with my mom (09/11/2021) we had 9 items. We were quick letting the red head girl know what we wanted. She was very rude and had a bad attitude. At one point she completely grabbed the wrong thing. When we asked her about it she said well we are out of that. Instead of even saying that she just grabbed a whole different item. When checking out her attitude became worse. Very disappointed with the service considering we spent quite a bit. Will not...
