I tell everyone I know about Mav’s! This has been my go to LCS since December/January, and I haven’t bought from any other LCS since! Mav is welcoming, accommodating, and truly loves what he does. It’s very rare to find an owner of a shop being so hands on & close with customers. There is not one staff member that hasn’t exceeded my expectations, and not one experience with this shop that has left me feeling anything but happy. Not only does Mav keep a massive stock of pokémon, but he has extremely reasonable prices. With the climate of the hobby right now, you can’t find pokémon anywhere for under 2x msrp. Meanwhile, Mav is taking home less profit to keep a variety of stock for his customers! Mav’s Collectables is truly a gem- a great shop full of good people. Please do yourself and stop by Mav’s next time you’re passing by. Stop giving the big chains and scalpers your hard earned money, and instead give it to a business owner who cares about his loyal customers & the hobby more than he cares about...

I came here the other day because I just got into the hobby of collecting Pokemon cards, had a horrible day at work and thought maybe a little pokemon pick me up might help. I drove an hour out of my way to come here because based on pics I thought the shop was pretty good, and had older sets I was trying to pull from. This shop far exceeded my expectations it was very clean, shiny, and new. Prices were very reasonable did some snooping online and found out they didn’t attempt to scalp the newest set that came out, that in itself is is pretty commendable. You’d think this was some kind of theme park with as often as our kids ask to go see “Mr Mav.” This is both our family outing spot, as well as date night for me and the hubby to feed our hobby and open some of the older packs without the kiddos…. LOL.
