Wendy's — Restaurant in Texas

Busta's Burgers only now. Went through drive thru, came home and found 2 burgers missing. Sat my kids down to eat and left to get the missing food. When I got there a Hispanic lady basically told me I was scamming for free food. She insisted that since she was the one who bagged my food that she couldn't have made a mistake, all while smirking and rolling her eyes. Very unprofessional. Refused to give me my food and refused a refund. I had to argue back & forth. Ridiculous. I had a $50 order, if I wanted 2 extra burgers I would've ordered them. I just wanted the missing food. I finally got them begrudgingly and went home to my cold fries. Thoroughly checked my food for spit or other tampering. Horrible that I should even have to think that. The new employees they have now are horrible. I've never had such horrible customer service. I've never had an employee literally argue with me over something so trivial. I would like to add a current update to my AWESOME review for this Wendy's - My husband is from another country and has an accent that can be difficult to understand, so he is apprehensive about ordering in drive thrus for that reason. He said there's a young lady named MELANIE who helped him and did a great job taking time to understand him and confirm the order was correct! KUDOS TO MELANIE! This Wendy's is one of the few fast food establishments in Crosby that actually cares about customer service and food quality! Each time I've ordered here the food is fresh, fries are cooked perfectly and sandwiches look carefully prepared, instead of "slapped" together in the wrapper like most places. Today I had to walk to walmart to pick up insulin. After, i went in wendys, crosby tx and had a very blessed experience with DREW who waited on me. I am 73 n on a walker. Drew is an excellent first person to see in your store. Had extreme patience, kindness, n amazing customer service. I was so tired. She helped with my drink n checked on me b4 i left. This may seem SMALL to u. Was huge to me n customers who saw her doing this. I dont usually take time to gush like this. I just hope, in some way, u recognize this exceptional young lady.
