I cannot begin to give enough stars. This place is simply AMAZING. Growing up in south Texas near "real Mexican" food, this place absolutely takes me back home!! First and foremost, the food is superb and consistent. I have NEVER gotten a bad dish from this place. The tortas are huge and filling. The Gorditas are perfect, the masa is not too think on the Gordita, but not too thin. Quesadillas are so good with the quesadilla cheese. Tacos, Menudo, you name it on the menu, EVERYTHING is good. Their refried beans are definitely authentic and yummy. Not overly thickened with cornstarch/flour. They taste sooo good!!! Their salsa's are HANDS-DOWN the best in the area. I love the avocado sauce and I can nearly drink it. I go by there weekly and grab a large canister of the avocado salsa because we eat it on everything. You don't find many restaurants that last, and have constant consistency with quality and flavor. I included a picture of today's gordita, but I unfortunately "tore it up" already. Price is very good as well!! One Torta feeds me for two meals. The workers here are super nice and bear with my gringa Spanish (which isn't horrible haha). I love this spot and is my go to for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Note they are closed on Sunday's, so stock up prior too :)

I really enjoyed my visit to this taqueria! The food is street tacos, but in a nice air conditioned environment. The prices are not bad and the food is very delicious! Their homemade salsa contains avocado which I love so much! Normally you see it in green salsas, but this is the first time i saw in a red one. I came back for round two cause I loved the food so much! The employees are very friendly and each had a smile! I definitely recommend this place for a delicious tostada or tasty quesadilla! Today I tried the gordita and I was not disappointed. This customer was completely satisfied both days!

I used to live fairly close to this place but I have since moved away. I still visit here quite often just to get their burrito. That’s right, I’ll drive 30 minutes to get the best burrito I’ve ever had. Tortilla is always soft and flaky, the beef always has a bit of a char so you get the crispy bits that add all that texture you can never find anywhere else, and they are experts at rolling them so you get a little bit of everything in each bite. They also have an excellent homemade salsa bar with a flavor for every palate. Stop in and support your local taqueria and stop going to Chipotle. 🙃

got cheated meat! old man rude! July 16, 2024. First review i've written ever. slight stomach cramps after eating the food here. Never ate here before, so I order 2 dishes. tastes ok, not great. back of the large air cooler beside tables has filthy filter on back.

I watch 2 lady's cook and prepare several large burrito's for different customers. My wife ask me to order 1 large burrito to take home. A 3rd younger girl cooked our burrito. The 3rd girl used both hands and scoop our meat from our burrito and threw the cooked meat back over into the meat bowl where she original got it. I questioned the 3rd girl why did she scoop so much of our meat and put back into the prep bowls. Her answer was - it looked like the burrito had enough. Unsatisfied, I began asking a young man if our meat burrito looked too small. He replied, "that doesn't look like a burrito - then the older man came over and tried touching my wrapper to see if it was a burrito... Apparently, both men didn't believe a burrito would be so small that's why they wanted to open it and verify it. Obviously, I don't want peoples fingers prying into my wrapper after I already paid money for it. So I pulled my cooked food away from their hands and explained that the 3rd young girl had took a large scoop of cooked meat from the Hot grilling table and put it back into the original prep container; and that I felt that I wasn't getting the same amount of meat that I just saw the other customers get on their burritos. I explained to the old man that i had just watched the other 2 lady's prepare burritos for other customers and never did the lady's remove meat off the burrito. The 2 other lady's took out the proper amount of meat and cheese per order and all ingredients were used per each burrito. The old man gave me the answer, "well, sometimes we can get 75 orders of food to make at once and we put a big pile of meat on the flat grill and put back whatever is not used. .... I said twice ... I was the only 1 customer here when the 3rd young girl prepare my 1 burrito.... there was not 75 customers... only me .. only 1 burrito ... so she only needed to get out enough meat for just 1 burrito.... not put some back ... Then the old man started slapping his fingers on the counter as trying to hurry me out of the door and giving a weak excuse of "well, we try to put enough food on each persons order." The old man was 100% not concerned with helping me and 100% not concerned of being respectful to a paying customer. Really, 1 bad apple. I'm sure the other employees there want their jobs and he isn't making things better. more concerning is the food safety aspect... so the hot cooked meat that the 3rd young girl removed from the hot grill was thrown over back into the prep dish... so, at the very least that means that the next customer is paying for meat that is over cooked 2 times... meaning poorer quality in flavor. .... An the old man (manager or owner) showed no concern; and even explained that it is a common practice to throw unused cooked meat back into the prep bowls.

so, If my 1 burrito was 20% smaller than what I paid for then that would be what? about 2 dollars? so, instead of helping me as a New paying customer, the old man caused me to leave in a fowl and upset mood. I was going to give the place a B- score, but after that $2 bad experience with the old man that was unwilling to help me and Rude it has made the entire experience eating a NEGATIVE EXPERIENCE.

My family considered making this a regular place to go and eat, so I guess I should be Thankful to the old man that was unfriendly, unhelpful, and Rude. because the old rude man actually saved me A LOT of MONEY... because, We Won't be...

I come here all the time to get a fajita steak burrito. The food is always delicious and fresh. The atmosphere is always clean and there is no weird smell, along with good customer service. Recently there has been a man there taking orders. He is not kind, he does not smile and it seems he really don't want to be there. I went there today, they were open, but the sign was off and door covered. I checked to see if they were open before I left and they were, so I attempted to go in. As I was going in the guy was finally taking the door cover off. I waited outside the door, 8:07, for him to finish taking off the cover. I walked In after and he looked at me and looked up at the open sign as if to say can you step back out and wait, as if it wasn't already passed the opening time. I asked him with confusion, can I come in? He responds "well you're in now!" I said I'll wait and left. Although this is not as rude as a lot of bad customer service, it really made me feel unwelcomed and not wanted. I think it would've made my food taste nasty!!! Do better!! It costs nothing to...
