The reks blows it out of the water! They just did a bunch of work to the place and have a new head chef. Everything on the menu is under $15. Most dishes are around $11 and well portioned. The food is definitely creative and really high quality with homemade jams, sauces and other creations. The salads are also a notch above and something you would expect to be double the price. The menu is one page and so you don't have to spend an eternity figuring out what it is that you want. You also get the sense they are focusing on fewer items and making them really good.
I had an chicken parmesan sandwich with homemade sauce which was perfect. Wife had the "notorious P.I.G." which is a pork sandwich with a fried egg and special homemade bacon jam. Unreal. Nachos we're also really great as well as homemade artichoke dip. Did I mention the have Lawson's Finest?
