I needed something to eat and drink after a seriously awesome morning of riding the mountain. I settled on Castlerock mostly for the full service nature and I wanted to sit at a bar and have a draft beer. I ended up having the grilled cheese with bacon, caramelized onions, and apple butter. OMG I never thought to do sweet onions and apple butter, a stroke of genius. Also for 15$ with some parm fries included I felt like it was a steel given what mountains charge for food. Beer was cold, it was just what I needed before round 2.

The pub is tucked under the main level of the base lodge. We were going to the bistro for drinks but it was closed on Monday, and ended up in the pub. If you’re looking for beer and bar food this is your place. Convenient as can be.

This is an excellent place for a good meal while on the slopes! We were seated in a booth which was very comfortable and enjoyed all of our food and (warm, boozy) drinks. Just what we needed!

We recently had the pleasure of hosting our rehearsal dinner and welcome party at Castlerock Pub, and are very happy with our experience. The location is stunning. Nestled in the mountains with breathtaking views, Sugarbush provided the perfect backdrop to kick off our wedding weekend celebrations. The natural beauty of the area, combined with the resort's well-maintained facilities, created an elegant and inviting ambiance. The staff at Sugarbush were attentive, accommodating, and invested in making sure things went smoothly. Alyssa and Meghan's professionalism and friendliness made the process stress-free and enjoyable. Overall, we highly recommend Sugarbush for any special event or getaway. The beautiful setting, great staff, and top-notch facilities make it an ideal choice for anyone looking to create...

Made a reservation for 6:15pm and get told when we arrive that they will be closing at 7pm due to the fireworks. No where on the website does it state they were closing early for the event. In fact the Sugarbush website recommended we come here for the event! We were treated terrible and rushed to order and told to eat quickly once to feed arrived. It was such a disappointing experience. Not to mention we were never properly explained how to order. You have to place the order online through Facebook or google (and the staff had no idea what to do when asked why when someone doesn’t have Facebook) and just wait, take out style. Way to ruin what could have been a memorable New Years Eve experience! I will never go back and will not recommend to anyone. By the way don’t try to call because they don’t...
