Iāve been a regular customer at HTeaO for quite some time, which makes it all the more disappointing to write this review. During a recent visit, my 10-year-old son, thinking they were testers, accidentally opened two chapsticks at the register. The cashier did not step in to prevent this mistake, yet when I returned from the restroom, I was awkwardly informed that I needed to pay for the two chapsticks, totaling $8.
Given the scale of business HTeaO handles daily, itās surprising that such a minor incident was treated with such rigidity. The cost of the chapsticks is insignificant in the grand scheme of things, especially compared to the loyalty and goodwill of a long-time customer. The way this situation was handledāmaking us pay for an honest mistake made by a childāraises serious questions about the character of the business and its priorities.
What made the experience worse was the awkward and unprofessional manner in which the staff dealt with the situation. It left me feeling uncomfortable and questioning whether HTeaO values its customers and...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI think this is a great idea. The only similar place that I know of is Brevia & they very small. It's about time us non-coffee drinkers get our own spot light. That could happen & how wonderful it would be for this eclectic tea shop to have seating. Not much, but a few tables inside & out. I think, case in point , Starbucks, can justify charging $5 for a tea. (They aren't that much, but most if us are aware of their prices) There were people in & out while I was there. There's a drivethrough! Healthy snacks, every flavor of tea! WOW! You can buy it by cup, half gallon, gallon and maybe more. I ordered online. BIG PEEVE Navigating their energies website was crazy. I kept easily knocking myself out, had trouble going back. By the time I was finished, I saw their tiny tabs to go to the category...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIt was refreshing to stop in and enjoy the air conditioning for a few minutes. The establishment flavored fluid dispensers were of a decades old familiarity and spotlessly clean. The floors and counters also were spotlessly clean. For the product. I had a raspberry something that was not remarkable. A nice cold on a hot day drink. It had no tea flavor at all with a watered down raspberry flavor. Not a hint of black tea. I was really ready for that smokey flavor of a traditional lac long dac beit hand rolled smoked black tea with the gentle fragrance of fresh spring mountain strawberry. I am afraid what flooded the pallet was far closer to simple watered down coolaid that had been in the fridge a little too long. The drink was less impressive than the establishment itself for...
