My husband initially thought this was a pizza place and then we walked in and saw it was an Italian restaurant so we tried it out. Your sign on the door had me wondering if I would be accepted inside "dressed appropriately" Thankfully my tie-dye shirt I had on didn't run them off and we were welcomed in with a table. At first glance of walking in, no smell at all?? You're an Italian place we sat right near the kitchen and I couldn't smell anything. That doesn't give me good signs. I wanted to smell the fresh Italian foods being prepared. The vibe is darker, it doesn't feel Italian unless you look at the wall decor. I understand this is an older establishment. Just thought more. Expectations always let us down in some way. The staff was helpful, and the young man who helped refill the water was on top of it that night. Our waitress was helpful, but kinda of seemed annoyed that my husband took a bit to order. The food here is a little more $$ so be prepared. My husband ordered the meat platter with manicotti, meatballs, veal, spaghetti, ravioli, and sausage. He enjoyed the veal the most. The red sauce had good flavor, not super sweet. 8/10 I wanted to try the chicken Alfredo lasagna, good just hard to cut when there is a whole slice of grilled chicken sandwiched between the fresh pasta. Needed some more flavor, salt, or more garlic. Kinda greasy too. 7/10 the pasta did look fresh. The bread - tastes like it was frozen and heated up in the oven. Not my favorite Italian that I've eaten but for not having it in a while this place didn't disappoint too badly. Something different and new to try. Definitely a popular place so maybe it just didn't match our taste buds. Try it out for yourself.

My husband and I tried this place on Saturday and were very disappointed to be honest. We ordered the Veal Marsala and the Beef Tenderloin. We started with the salads and did not like the canned mushrooms on top. They just did not serve the salad well. The Veal was very tender and well cooked, but the Marsala was very bland and looked very pale. I should have known I was in trouble when the waitress asked if I wanted capers with it. I have had Marsala in many places including Italy and this was not good at all. My husband got the Beef Tenderloin and the beef was good and tender but the sauce was not good at all and it too was bland. He tried added salt and pepper to help it, but it did not work. The red sauce on the spaghetti was nothing special or different. We thought with all of the good reviews this would be much better than what we received. The service was okay. We had to wait to be greeted at the table and while she was nice she was slow and not intuitive at all. The prices would be fair if they quality was there, but for the quality that we received the prices were too high. The tables are a little close together and when people take up more room than the chair allow it can get crowded. We will not be back due to the food and service and would not recommend.

Last time I dined here was 3 years ago. Not sure why I waited so long to get back here!!! The food here is delicious and I don’t think you could ever go wrong with any dish they serve. We started out with the Baked Artichokes - phenomenal! Highly recommend if you are a fan of artichokes. I chose the Chicken Piccata - I was blown away by the lemon-butter sauce with capers. Just the right balance of lemon with a fantastic flavor! Instead of salad I opted for the Tomato Bisque - excellent! My wife chose the Wednesday Spaghettini AYCE! However, after the plate arrived there was no way she was going to get beyond the first serving! A very generous portion to say the least. She chose the salad and she said it was spot on- served on a chilled plate. One disappointment was the bread - they just didn’t have bread that I would have expected. A dinner roll was served when the meal - not what I liked at all. To round out the meal we saved room for dessert and of course we chose the Creme Brûlée! It was one of the better ones we’ve had. If in the mood for Italian I would recommend giving this a try.

It is my first time coming to this restaurant. It was a special occasion too. Service was not up to par. We had to actually remind our waitress to order drinks. She did not offer any bread with our meals. A different waitress came to our table to ask “Do you want bread?”. We did not feel we were getting the service we deserve from an upper-priced restaurant standard. We saw that other tables had some seasoned oil dip to go with the bread, but we weren’t offered any. All we got was the bread and packaged butter. As for our meals; they were “okay”, nothing special. My meal was room temp. The manager came to our table and clearly saw me putting my napkin and silverware on my half finished plate and asked me if the food was good, and I replied “it was okay”. She did offer to exchange it with a different meal, but I didn’t really want to wait even longer to get something else. They should be held to a certain etiquette and standard to restaurant service, especially to restaurants that charge $20+ meals and ones that are only open 4-5 hrs a day. Our waitress wasn’t rude at all, but it would have been nice not to ask for our drink order, and straws, and a refill on our drinks, and lastly: getting our bill without a pen to write. What was very shocking is the fact that I was charged full price for my “okay” meal after I shared my opinion on the meal quality to the manager. It’s sad because I really had high hopes prior to my arrival and was anxious to try it out after seeing that the restaurant has 4+ stars out of 5. I was disappointed to say the least. It was my first time and unfortunately my last time going there. Wish I had a...

If you're searching for the best Italian food in town, look no further than Papa Dio’s! This place is a hidden gem that delivers authentic flavors, exceptional service, and a cozy, inviting atmosphere. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with warm smiles and the mouthwatering aroma of freshly prepared Italian dishes.

The menu offers a perfect mix of traditional favorites and creative specialties. Their handmade pasta is divine, and their sauces are rich, flavorful, and clearly made with love. The Chicken Alfredo is hands-down one of the best I’ve ever had.

One of the standout aspects of Papa Dio’s is their incredible wine selection. The knowledgeable staff is always happy to recommend the perfect pairing, making your dining experience even more special. And don’t forget dessert—their Tiramisu is a fresh and mouthwatering!

Beyond the food, the atmosphere is elegant yet comfortable, making it perfect for a romantic date night, a family gathering, or a fun evening out with friends. The service is attentive and friendly without being overbearing, making you feel like a valued guest rather than just another customer.

Papa Dio’s is more than just a restaurant—it’s an experience. Whether you're a long-time fan of Italian cuisine or just looking for a fantastic meal, this place will exceed your expectations. Highly...
