Shawarmas Thareck Halal Food Truck in Magnolia/Egypt, Texas, is an absolute gem! The people running the truck are incredibly friendly and welcoming, making the experience even better. The food is some of the best I have ever had, and I cannot recommend it enough. Every dish is packed with flavor and authenticity.
I highly recommend trying the mixed grill with chicken, lamb, beef kuffta, and grilled shrimp—each bite is delicious and perfectly cooked. The grape leaves are extremely good, and the hummus, falafel, and tabouli salad are all must-tries. Every item on the menu is thoughtfully prepared and bursting with fresh, vibrant flavors.
This food truck is truly a hidden gem that deserves to grow into a full restaurant location. Anything less would be unacceptable given the quality and taste of the food. Let's help this fantastic little truck gain the recognition it deserves and support its growth. Shawarmas Thareck is a must-visit for anyone...
Read moreI got the shawarma Arabica style and hummus plate. I know it's a food truck and limited to a full kitchen, so maybe I am just nitpicking. Wrap was soggy. Like inedible. Lettuce seemed old. Chicken was favorable fries a bit soggy, too, but hummus was on point. Pita bread was warmed and all. I did get all this to-go, but I live 5 minutes away. This was the fourth time of me coming here and someone actually giving me the time of day to take my order. Every other time, I was ignored and seemed like if you're in a rush, don't order from here. Was really hoping this place was great, but fell short tonight. Might try a gyro or an actual plate next time, if there is one.
Thanks to the owner for replying. This was my 4th time going up there and actually ordering! I normally get ignored, or staff is busy. They take the order and start making food and ignore the customer waiting in line. No worries, I will not be...
Read moreHoly heck, did I just get a taste of heaven? I think so! From the moment we walked up, we were welcomed by friendly faces and such an invigorating aroma that it should be a crime to NOT stop and investigate it's origin. We ordered the original gyro, chicken shawarma and grape leaves. While waiting, we were surprised with a couple of fresh made flaky pastries stuffed with cheese, still piping hot from the fryer. Our food came out just a few minutes later and whoa dang, this is the magic. Not one crumb to be wasted with food as scrumptious as this. The shawarma was as big as my forearm. This place is just everything my stomach doesn't deserve. We will be back again and again and again. If you don't eat here, you're seriously missing out and doing your taste buds a disservice by...
