An eggscellent place to dine! I don't want to butter you up, but allow me to share my muffin with you...
First, you HAVE to pay homage by a benedict... Eggs Benedict to be exact, which are THE go to for me! Or, make it a Benny and you'll be in hog heaven with a slice of fried chicken comparable to Chick-fil-A, lovingly placed on an English Muffin, topped with a perfectly cooked egg and finished with a Hollandaise sauce that will leave you thinking "Is This Heaven???"
Speaking of pancakes, FORGET I-FLOP! You want pancakes? It's a smorgasbord of pancake selection with a fluffy cloud of ingredients that make you crave one more bite! But, don't let me influence your judgment here. After all, your tummy and tastebuds will thank me later!
For those who want a little more, how about a GENEROUS helping of Country Fried Chicken that would make your country grandma jealous! A fabulous portion with tasty sides that'll leave you loosening your belt, just to get that last bite down!
And for the kids??? Corn dogs, chicken fingers, pancakes, anything that will allow you to enjoy your meal in peace, because they WILL be too busy enjoying every delectable morsel so that you can enjoy your delicious meal!
Cost? Ha! A-fordable! Forget the budget when you walk in! Everything on their menu is reasonably priced, so that everyone gets something they'll enjoy! Salad? Yum! Breakfast options? Oh yeah! Dinner? Like those old beef commercials, this place IS what's for dinner!
Aaaaaand...... cue drum roll...... LEAVE. ROOM. FOR. DESSERT! Ok y'all, the BEST beignets that ARE literally the BEST and I would slap these against ANYTHING from New Orleans! You will NOT be disappointed, because tears rushed down my cheeks enjoying every delectable bite! Oh, Fried Ice Cream, like 5 star restaurant style Fried Ice Cream, without a 5 star price! Just, do NOT eat the dish or spoons... but you'll be tempted! I'd say get it to share, but I'm a GREEDY guy that wants this dish all to myself! It's faaaaaantastic!!!
Don't take my word for it! Go visit and see for yourself! Top notch service, great prices, and a non-pretentious environment, tucked nicely back into a cozy area that makes for a relaxed environment. Of course, you could decide NOT to visit and leave my diamond in the rough alone, but I'd be doing you all a disservice. Check this great...
Read moreI want to start off saying that we have dined here many times over the past few years. Mostly for breakfast, it’s usually delicious and satisfying. Today we went for lunch. I ordered the tender salad and my Husband ordered the Benny burger. First the lady bringing out the food was confused on where it went and had our burger in one hand and someone else’s chicken and waffles in the other. No big deal she went back to the kitchen and our original waitress came out with our complete order. My husband went ahead and cut his burger in half and took a bite. When he did a little onion fell off onto the side of the plate and it had a little curly hair clearly attached to the onion like it had been cooked with it. My husband is a pretty understanding guy and was going to continue eating it even though he’d already mention that the burger did not taste good to begin with. He did, however, wanted to let the waitress know. She came over and he told her. She began by arguing with him saying that it’s not hair just part of the onion. Then while holding the piece of onion she took her nasty looking finger nails and pulled the hair away from the onion. It was slightly curly. 🤔 I said “how is that not a hair?” She responded by saying it doesn’t even look like a human hair!! What?! Then what is it? I told her that instead of arguing that she needs to be apologetic because that is how it is in this business. She agreed but kept arguing about it. She did offer to have the burger remade but we were already so put off by they way she handled it and making it worse by pulling the hair completely away from the onion piece. Disgusting! So we decided to leave. My husband did try to offer several times to pay but she said not to worry about it. The best answer I’ve heard from her. Of course we shouldn’t have to pay. Hair in the food, having to argue regarding it, and we left without eating more than two bites from either plate. Unfortunately, our love for this place is gone and we...
Read moreRecommended: YES! A really great diner for breakfast in Magnolia! The food was delicious, the prices were great and the staff was wonderful! Very nice, clean and quiet noise level place to enjoy a breakfast. We came here based on the other positive reviews for breakfast in the area. I was not disappointed. Although it was a bit busy, we were greeted and seated rather quickly. The menu offer quite a variety of meals, but, we were focused on the breakfast. We chose the Cowboy and the Riverside breakfasts. The Cowboy breakfast has choices of eggs, meat, potatoes and a bread. I opted for The scrambled eggs, thick cut bacon, house potatoes and a biscuit. My guest selected the Riverside which consisted of eggs over easy, thick cut bacon and pancakes. The eggs were fresh and prepared well, the bacon had a wonderful texture and smoky sweetness to it. The pancakes were fluffy and tasted like they were from scratch as well as the biscuit, which almost had very good density. All of the foods and coffee were of generous portions and delicious! The cost of the meals with coffee and tax came out to about $15 per person. The staff was wonderful and attentive without being intrusive. The waitress' attitude was great and friendly. The overall cleanliness in the restaurant was enjoyable and the bathrooms are kept clean. The Waterfalls Café earns two big thumbs up and I plan to make this one of my regular go-to breakfast diners! Everything from the food, to the prices, to the staff made it for a very...
