I Must say that I’m incredibly disappointed from my experience ordering from here. I Ordered two large thin crust pizzas a week ago with a garlic cheese bread and appetizers. I know when you have it delivered, It’s not going to arrive hot but the pizza was cold. They messed up the ingredients and there was practically no sauce on the pizzas. I don’t know if they’ve changed their recipe or not but the pizzas were absolutely terrible. Nobody wanted to finish them so we threw them away, we contacted the store and they said that everything was pre-measured and that’s the amount of sauce they put on it and if we wanted more we should’ve ordered extra sauce. The manager did however sent us a coupon for 2 free pizzas. So we decided to give it another go on Saturday and ordered 2 deep dish pizzas. I don’t know what they’ve done, but this is not the same Pizza I remember from years ago. It was the single worst pizza I have ever had in my entire life. I ordered extra sauce and what I got was a pizza covered in stewed tomatoes. Barely any toppings and I don’t know where the extra cheese is but it wasn’t on the pizza. But it wouldn’t of mattered because the sauce was sweet and watered down. Couldn’t even finish a piece. Nobody liked it. And my better half swore by this place and said it was the best pizza she ever had. Even she couldn’t finish a piece and said it was absolutely horrible. Who puts stewed tomatoes on pizza? I don’t know if that’s normally part of their sauce, but I didn’t even ask for tomatoes. I didn’t even bother contacting the store this time because I was afraid of getting offered another free pizza. I wouldn’t eat this pizza again if they paid me. A $1.50 Tostinos pizza is...
Read moreThis is a carry out only location in Third Lake. I have been doing the carry out thing for years and I almost always get the frozen spinach pizza. I like to have one on hand for pizza emergencies. I throw some thinly sliced onions on before baking and the pizza is always, always delicious. The loss of stars is for gradually but steadily shrinking the thickness of the “deep dish “ pizza. It used to be that the foil pan it comes in was just the right height to hold the pizza without the cardboard cover smashing the top. Now, the pizza is only 1/4 of the height of the pan. Lots of room for what, air? No it doesn’t get thicker when it warms up for 30-35 min. @ 425 degrees. I don’t think it’s much higher than the frozen thin crust pizzas now available in the freezer. At least those are set in shallow pans and wrapped in clear cellophane so what you see is what you get. It’s not a fluke, every pizza I buy is like this. People who order online and ship to friends, just know they will NOT be getting the deep dish pan pizza of yesteryears. I guess “Deep Dish” is relative. Think of this “deep” as the deep end of the baby pool. Concomitant to the decrease in size is an increase in the cost. At least the pizza is...
Read moreLou's always has quality product (especially that hot honey pepperoni pizza)- but they also have incredible customer service. Last night the manager of the store here really went above and beyond my expectations. My wife was supposed to pick up a pizza at 8, but unfortunately she was unable to (issues with Jewel grocery pickup). I ended up picking the pizza up at 9pm, right when they closed, and they were still fantastic even after being a little longer out of the oven. The manager was super friendly and understanding and even said in the future if the pickup time needed to be reschedule to just call and they would make us fresh ones. He empathized with our situation and just made our experience and evening a lot better. I don't think people are thrilled to be working at 9pm on a Sunday too so the positive attitude went really far. Big thank you to the Lou's team and I will definitely be a...
