Get ready for your taste buds to embark on an epic adventure with some of the juiciest and crunchiest chicken sandwiches you've ever had! The loaded sidewinder fries will keep you guessing with the twist and turns of their perfectly crafted toppings. The China Fortune will give you fond memories of the General Tso's you used to order from the previous joint. The Pterodactyl will wow you with it's high flying teriyaki/buffalo flavors. Does pineapple belong on pizza? It's hotly debated. Does it belong on this chicken sandwich? Abso-freakin-lutely. The Nashville Hot will leave you with that warm spicy tingle of new love. All this food leads to the satisfyingly climatic ending of elevating you to a higher plane of existence. You'll laugh, you'll happy cry, and then you'll want to take a nap. I could go on, but you've already started to drool on your phone as you're looking up a fun spot for a quick bite. Honey's is forged from the long time favorite Sunday chicken special from Ancho Honey down in Tenant's Harbor, and it is POPULAR. The sequel is as good as the original. The best way I've found to order is by doing it ONLINE to get what you want, when you want. Walk-in availability can have really long wait times. Don't walk away sad cause you missed out. I emphasize to order online and it'll be hot and ready...
Read moreHad a bummer of an experience today. Ordered 2 wings with 2 fríes which came to $36.61. Picked up the food. Got back home and realized we only had the wings. So i basically paid almost $40 dollars for 12 wings. I Called to let them know we didn't get all that we paid for and she said we can 'probably' get you a refund? I asked why probably, and why can't i come pick up the fries and she said oh, usually people wouldn't want to... I said im pretty close by. She said well if you pick up the fríes you won't get the refund. I was like, okay? should I take another 20 minutes to run back over and pick them up, or just take the refund? The whole experience was really bizarre and i guess i just half expected to hear, 'I'm sorry that happened and we'll make it right' or something along those lines?
I've eaten there a few times and always very happy with the food but this experience kinda left me bitter. Hope everyone else has a better experience and they are successful. It's...
Read moreSo I've been driving from Portland to the Rockland area to eat at each brainchild of the owner, first 'Wich Please, then Ancho Honey, and now Honey's, and everything has always exceeded expectations. I watched from afar how slammed they were their first week, a nice but exhausting problem to have, I'm sure, so I took advantage of the order-online option that they've been suggesting basically every day on their fun/friendly/informative social media presence. I ordered for a specific time, arrived on time, and guess what? It was ready on time - and piping hot!
As much as I wanted to order one of everything on the menu, I decided to pace myself and get two fried chicken sandwiches to start. It was delicious, and if I had any more room in my stomach on my way back out of town an hour later, I'd have gotten two more. All that said, I can't wait to go back. If anyone is coming down to Portland, let me know so I can ask you to pick something up for me...
