Went to this place with my mother a few days ago we were very excited to try it as it seems like a nice little spot.. I had asked the waitress what they season their chicken with because I have stomach problems and can't have certain spices.. the waitress came back and told me that they season it with just spices.. I asked her which ones in particular.. she said she could go back and ask the cook again but it would be a waste because the cooks there all season the chicken different ... It was very frustrating.. I've worked in bars and restaurants my whole life and any time a customer is concerned about the ingredients in the food I go back and ask the cooks or I check the labels on the food item myself... It was very disappointing that she wasn't willing to put in the time to do her job and provide the information I needed to enjoy a meal there.. as a server/ bartender myself I would always do what I can to make the customer feel comfortable or try to meet their needs .. she didn't even bother to offer anything else on the menu.. I felt like she just didn't care whether we stayed and dined in or not .. it made for a really uncomfortable visit .. Needless to say we left and didn't even order anything to eat.. I've never in my life been told that nobody knows what is in the food!! How many cooks could possibly work there that a simple question couldn't have been answered for me? Yes, all cooks do things different but they should all be following THE SAME RECIPE!! inconsistent food recipes could be danger to ones health especially if an allergy is involved! Unfortunately we won't be going...
Read moreI eat here a lot on my lunch break. The food and people are always great. But we need to talk about the BLT sandwich...
BLTs are my all-time favorite sandwich. I’ve ordered it from Rozzi’s maybe 4 or 5 times now, and every time I leave feeling personally betrayed by the lack of ingredients. The last one I got had literally 2 slices of bacon and 1.5 tomato slices. That’s not a BLT. That’s bread with a suggestion of bacon.
Yes, I get it, it’s the cheapest sandwich on the menu besides grilled cheese. But even when I paid extra for more bacon, it only came with 4 slices. FOUR. That’s still barely enough to cover the bread. Bacon isn’t a garnish here. In a BLT, bacon is the protein, the meat, the whole reason we’re here.
Normally lettuce and tomato are the supporting actors in a sandwich. But in a BLT, they’re supposed to step up and share the spotlight with the bacon. When all three are skimped, the whole thing just falls flat.
I want to eat this BLT more often, I really do. But right now it feels like Rozzi’s is actively preventing me from living my best BLT life.
Rozzi’s, if you see this, please fix the BLT. For me, for you, for...
Read moreBeen coming here weekly for a few months now and never left here disappointed. The service is superb and the food is consistently excellent. I enjoy the fact that I sometimes will have 3 or 4 servers waiting on me and making sure my needs are met at all time. The team work system that they have is one of the best I've ever seen. Everyone in the staff communicates to each other well and helping out one another as needed. I am a sucker for a great service and by far they exceeded it.
Food is also great and very consistent. You can always expect to get same great food every time you order. The portions there are no jokes either. I attached a picture of my Rueben Omelet special which can easily serve two and it was one of the tastiest and meatiest Omelet I've ever had.
You won't leave here unhappy for sure. I own a restaurant and I enjoy watching how well everyone in the staff work together with smiles on their faces. Not every restaurant have that and not every restaurant can make you feel relax, comfortable and well treated...
