I took my son there last week. I told him this was where my father took me when I was a child for the best hot dog and experience. I used to buy a whole box of their Medford franks with the thick casing to take back to South Carolina. The were the best hot dogs ever.

Well, things have changed. The food was so bad that I didn’t even bother to complain. We just threw it in the trash and walked out, never to return. One of my hot dogs was partially black. This was not grill marks, but inside the dog. The one I ate had absolutely no taste. It is hard to describe but it reminded me of high school cafeteria hot dog with casing. The fries were slightly warm and some were soggy. I doubt if they were from the same batch. I’ve read other reviews in which people got sick after eating here and I am not surprised. I know Medford is no longer around but I am sure there is a place that can duplicate the recipe.

I don’t want to put down the employees, but I would never have served the food the gave me. That is why I didn’t complain. If that is their standard of food and service then I will eat somewhere else. I know this wasn’t a “one time” bad meal, but the norm, because a friend tried to warn me about going there. She said it is not the same, but I had to see for my self. This is the first review I have ever written. I feel that it is important to have this experience on the web and writing this is therapeutic to my extreme disappointment. When ever I talk about my child hood and the foods that I enjoyed, Jimmy John’s name always would come up along with Quaker Bakers, the old New Havens Pizza, and others. I can’t honestly recommend...

I had not been in Jimmy John's for along time. I just moved into the area and decided to stop in for lunch. I was very disappointed. The hot dogs were the same as always, but it looked like they started serving them on dinner rolls. I am not trying to be funny but, I call what I see. I know times are hard. It use to be either they cut the size or raised the prices. Looks like times are changing. I ordered a regular chocolate shake and paid over 6,00. I kept waiting to taste the chocolate and it never came. Took the lid off and saw that they must of just grazed with a shot of chocolate. Never did taste chocolate. It looked like a dirty white. Did not taste like anything. The lunch was well over 12,00. I don't mind paying but, was it worth it? No Just...

Have loved Jimmy John's for 60 years and still do. When coming home from the Delaware shore, will choose route 202 to stop there. I always get the dogs and my wife always gets the pork roll. Last Friday we stopped and I got my dogs, fries, and milkshake and she got her pork roll. The pork roll was different. Not as good as it always was. I asked one of the workers if they changed vendors. She said sometimes their distributor sends them what they have due to supply availability. My wife left about 3 bites cause she didn't like it that much. So I finished it to see what it tasted like. She said it tasted almost like liver wurst. I didn't think that, but it had a different taste and consistency. Maybe we will try it the next time. She only gets the pork roll so I hope it is...

Absolutely spectacular burgers. This is the best burger joint I've ever been to (and I have been to A LOT of burger joints across America). Not only do I love supporting a thriving mom and pop shop but I love doing so with food I love. I would recommend this to any people in the area or new people traveling. The burger looks way small (it is!) but you quickly find yourself full after you eat the fries and drink your drink (I also had a milkshake and completely stuffed myself). Keep on keepin' on JJ. The REAL JIMMY JOHNS. It was an honor to review your place..I am a top contributor on Google maps reviews so please do not take this review with a grain of salt. Much love from the Rocky Mountains, Chris L.

This place is one of the gems of the West Chester area. While they make a lot of great sandwiches, the must have is their "special Frankfurter". This is a plump, natural casing ("snappy") custom grind (not supermarket available) boiled dog served in a wide bun with plenty of room for the fixings. Of these, they have hot sauerkraut which complements the dog nicely with some mustard. Be warned: their fries are a generous portion! Extra bit: they have some neat train layouts to look at while you're dining as well as a really cool photo collection going back to the founder's time in WW2.

Classic American Hot Dog Spot. Operated since 1940 by the same family. The dogs are made especially for them and are unlike any you've tried elsewhere. The self serve hot grilled onions and sauerkraut are delicious. The sides including fries or onion rings are standard fare. The hot dogs are available frozen to bring home for your next BBQ. The coin operated model train displays are kicking old school feels that the Littles seem to love. Take a time machine back a few decades and have some delightful Americana in a basket. Nom noms.
