The initial experience was fine. They sent a video after an initial multipoint inspection which was great and recommended changing the belts on the car. Went ahead and gave the go ahead to change filters, belts, oil change, and tire rotation. When they were done I drove the car home. My Bronco smelled terribly like it was burning oil. Figured maybe they spilled some. No big deal. As soon as I pulled in my driveway (was probably a 15 minute drive home) I get a call and they said they forgot to put my dipstick back. I was a little annoyed and upset since driving it had increased the oil pressure causing a lot of oil to come out of the dipstick housing and all over the engine bay.
When I drive back to the dealership I pull into the lot and pop the hood to see how bad the mess is. There's oil all over as to be expected. The advisor and the mechanic were very apologetic and said they would take care of it and power wash the engine bay and gave me a written note on the back of a card for a free oil change next time. Cool, I was still a little annoyed.
They present the car back to me and the mechanic said he sprayed degreaser in the engine bay and sprayed it down. There's oil and degreaser all over my hood, front quarter panels, and windshield. Now also keep in mind that I had this car ceramic coated a couple years ago and had spent ALL DAY the previous day detailing it because we had just come back from a week long road trip in the Bronco. I was worried that the degreaser would ruin the ceramic coat and possibly the clear coat on my paint, but the service center was closing and the guys wanted to head home, so I didn't say anything and planned on washing it off as soon as I got home so it hopefully wouldn't sit on the paint long enough to cause any damage.
I pulled out of the dealership and was sitting at the traffic light at the intersection for a few seconds when I was rear ended and sustained fairly significant damage. It took several hours for the police to come and handle the crash. I was extremely upset. I got home and tried to clean off the degreaser and oil from my paint but there is some discoloration and marks left in the clear coat from the splatter.
Overall I am pretty upset with situation and would never have been rear ended if I wouldn't have had to drive back to the dealership for a dipstick that should have never been left outside of its housing to begin with. Now I have to deal with insurance trying to get the rear end of my car fixed and try to figure out if the marks and discoloration on the hood can be fixed.
It is unlikely that I will be coming back to the dealership after this which is a shame because the initial interaction I had with the...

Well I called Brian asked for a Very specific test be done within 20 minutes of my arrival why engine was still hot, he said sure no problem..I showed up at the dealership the next day, they had no clue what I was talking about. Waited an hour for a technician to come out. Technician didn't even do what I had requested, the engine had cooled so the issue didn't happen with the tech driving. Came out with a historic code for fuel pump.. I voiced my concern with Brian he said this is what we found. I said you didn't even do what I asked for he said $143.95 please.. I was very specific when I told him that the engine stalls after it's restarted hot 20-25 minutes after it was sitting. But on the ticket he wrote (a customer States after the engine is hot if it is shut down it has a longer than usual crank and the engine will stall at stops) told him that it stalls AS I JUMP INTO TRAFFIC... Technician took an hour to come out so we couldn't duplicate the problem.. Very unhappy with the dealership never going back to THIS Ford dealership again should be refunded my money because they didn't do what I asked them to do.. FYI apparently tech had the car running in the shop for a few minutes because when I left the dealership the issue happened.. Very unhappy Ford customer!!! $143.95 FOR NO NEW INFORMATION & IDIOT service writers who don't listen to their customers requests.... at the end of all this Brian said I don't suggest any repairs I said you would if you was your family jumping into traffic with a stalling vehicle.. Wonder if I should just ditch this car and and...
Read moreDISAPPOINTED! Huge let down yesterday with my experience at this dealership. My father had been in a few nights prior and test drove a car that he thought would have been perfect for me. He told them I would be down to test drive it myself, and if I liked it, we'd be able to purchase it that same evening. The dealership was expecting me to come in before 4:00 and despite the hour drive down, I was able to get there BEFORE 4:00 as planned. When I arrived at the dealership my salesman said that there was someone test driving the car at the moment, so I sat down and waited until they returned with the car. When they returned, I then took the car for a test drive with MY salesman and fell in LOVE with it! Before we got back to the dealership I told my salesman that I wanted to move forward with the sale and I'd be able to purchase that night. Well... you can imagine my surprise when we pulled up and I had barely even gotten out the vehicle when another salesman walked over said, it was SOLD! Honestly, I was at a loss for words... so I just left. I called the next day to express my frustration and disappointment in the way the situation was handled and was told that unfortunately it was just 'bad timing' and the other buyers had been 'long time customers' and were willing to offer a bit more than the price we had agreed upon. Even if that was the case, why wasn't I offered the opportunity to provide a counter offer? Overall I think the situation was handled very poorly, and I only share this as a word caution so someone else doesn't find themselves in the same...
