The service was ridiculously slow. Three other diners who arrived AFTER us were served before us. I am all for relaxing and having a peaceful dinner, but the main dishes MUST be brought out at the right time; not too soon after you bring the appetizers but not so long after the diners are done with the appetizers that they are wondering wtf is going on... At one point, the diners at the table next to us, who arrived 20 minutes after us, received their food about 5 minutes after they arrived. I honestly thought that maybe the server had given them our food by mistake.
The atmosphere was pleasant with Bollywood videos on many different TVs, not too loud, just interesting and entertaining. The tables and floors were clean. The decor was tasteful and simplistic, which is appealing when you have intricate food. However, there were a lot of flies in the dining area, totally disgusting. This problem needs to be addressed somehow because it makes people lose their appetite.
We ordered the samosa chaat, veg pakora, chicken tikka masala, chicken tikka biryani, and garlic naan.
The samosa chaat and veg pakora were actually great. Great taste. Not many restaurants in the area serve chaat. It was a nice treat. They brought very little chutney. Recommend asking people what chutney they want. We don't like mint chutney at all and they didn't bring enough tamarind chutney.
The chicken tikka masala had very little chicken in it. I would expect 3-4 times the amount of chicken than they actually give you. Total fail. The rice brought with the chicken tikka masala had too much spice in it; cashews, cardamom, cloves, saffron, etc. Typically, plain rice pairs better with a spicy dish so that the flavors of the spicy dish can be enjoyed. The quantity was good and the taste was nice but there definitely needs to be more chicken.
The chicken tikka biryani was promising. I love biryani but I hate bones and splinters from the chicken. This dish is boneless. The taste was spot-on. Very delicious. However, the problem is there were exactly 4 small cubes of actual chicken in a gigantic bowl of rice. I actually had a hard time finding the chicken. Completely unacceptable. There should be 2-3 times the amount of chicken in this dish than what they give you. Overall, the quantity of food is good but there needs to be more chicken.
The garlic naan was good. Taste was right. They give you a good amount.
This was our first visit. I usually try a restaurant twice before I give up on it. We will visit one more time but there need to be improvements on the things that...

We've visited this restaurant multiple times and have always been impressed. We've sampled various biryanis and appetizers, and each visit has been a delightful experience.
The biryani platter stands out as a particular favorite. It's an excellent value, including one chicken appetizer, one chicken curry, one naan, and a generous serving of biryani. The only item that didn't appeal to me was the Salana.
The non-veg appetizers, such as were all outstanding. Among the veg appetizers, the kothimira gobi was especially noteworthy, being both crispy and delicious.Their special weekend menu, available on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, is not to be missed.
The only dessert we tried so far is Rasamalai Jamun. It was good but Jamun was a little hard.
We look forward to exploring more items on their menu in the future. The staff is friendly, and their recommendations have consistently been spot on. I highly recommend trying their appetizers – they are truly delectable!

Read moreOrdered food for pickup and my mother went to pickup food and drinks ordered..my mother asked the woman at pickup if all food was in the bag as we had ordered two lassis..the woman confirmed it was there..got food and drinks were not included..called immediately and the woman who picked up asked what was missing and when I told her ,gave no apology and simply said oh can you come back for it..absolutely ridiculous customer service, mistakes happen but to not even offer a basic apology for a mistake on their part just shows a complete lack of care. We live close but could have been someone who had traveled far or had had something significant missing from their order. As far for the food-ordered a plain dosa for my daughter which is hard to mess up but was barely edible and overpriced on top of it. This area has many Indian restaurants but thought this could be our go to place for Indian food but with not with service and...
