Baba's Famous Steak & Lemonade — Restaurant in Thornton Township

Staff was rude during a DoorDash pickup order for myself, me or my boyfriend are NOT dashers. We placed an order for pickup and they had him wait 20 minutes to pick up the order, he kept saying he needed proof of the name and an order number, on the screen just has “pickup order here” with an itemized receipt, it wasn’t good enough for the staff member and got his manager instead who said to just give it to him but to not order again because they’ve had 5000$ stolen from them because of DoorDash. Well get off DoorDash then. He just said that’s cool we just won’t order again and you can be out 5000$ plus 40$ for this order. I live in Florida and ordered food for him and we had issues with the dasher and had to be refunded in DoorDash credits, by the time everything got sent delivery was unavailable so we had to pickup instead and chose babas instead, screw you babas...

Very poor customer service ordered through door dash.. called within minutes of ordering because I forgot to take mayo off and woman who answered phone .. said order was already done and nothing she could do .. I asked to speak to a manager she said there was none.. I asked for owner same thing .. over a hour past since I ordered still no food delivered I call back .. loud music playing in back ground like a bar .. she was super rude again . I was from out of state there on work business was treated horrible by this woman ... this place needs better customer service.. can't say much about the food we never received it ... SAD .. HOPEFULLY THE OWNERS SEE THIS AND FIXES THIS SITUATION .. I SPENT 42.53 CENTS...

At the request of my grandson, this was my first visit to Baba. I was overtaken by the nasty parking lot. The lobby was untidy and the area of which the shorthand cook was preparing food was horribly uncanny. I tried to understand why my grandson had a desire for a Baba's cheese burger. I had no desire of eating anything prepared there because of the obvious unsanitary conditions. Baba' proprietor needs to close shop, until he/she/they, can clean up their parking lot, clean mop and re-tile the lobby and kitchen floors, paint the lobby, wash the glass on the entrance windows and doors and by all means clean and sterilize that disgusting food preparation area. This is definitely a dirty, greasy...
