Burrito Express — Restaurant in Thornton Township

I have been going here for 7 years. But now lately there customer service has gotten worst. They don’t acknowledge you once ur in the counter. I understand u might be busy but at least say I’ll be right with you or give me a moment. Something would be better then letting u stay up there for several minutes I ended up walking out when I was just going to pick up an order. And when I called them to let them know I was not going to pick up my order because of the poor acknowledgment all the lady said was “Ok” and hung up instead of saying we were extremely busy I apologize.. that would have gone a long ways and maybe go back to the establishment instead I get hung up at.. won’t be ordering from them any longer...

I wish I was able to give ZERO stars. This was my first time coming to this establishment. I was picking up an Uber eats order at the time. I approached the counter very politely as I was greeted politely initially by Berta, but then it turned into very nasty snobby behavior, which I did not appreciate, and I’m not happy. I never ordered food from here and due to the energy that was given to me I will never refer someone to come here nor will I ever put my money into a place that has such nasty attitudes. I did not approach her rudely nor aggressively, and I was talking very calmly. She was extremely dismissive, rude, and very snobby for no apparent reason at all I was told that she is the mother of this establishment and from the looks of it, she needs to retire or not be the face of the establishment with such...

I’m giving this place two stars because of several things. I’ve been here 5-7 times. 1) I don’t like how you have to PAY to add cheese to everything. I feel like most other places include cheese as a standard ingredient.

On my last visit, I ordered quesadillas and was given flat pancake flour tortilla shells with barely anything in them. I thought it was a joke, I’ll attach a picture so you can see the quesadilla I was given. There was barely a sprinkle of cheese in that quesadilla, my family laughed because they couldn’t believe a restaurant would actually serve that to someone. Oh and the steak in the tacos was tough and not seasoned well last time.
