Food was relatively good, though the sauce on the Cuban torta threw the sandwich off. My fiance didn't like it at all, or the pasta salad, or even their chips. He especially didn't like the price at $118 for 4 sandwiches, a kids hot dog, 4 cans of coke (@ $3.50 ea), a hot tea and a latte (tip/tax included). For that we could've gone to honey berry next door and had a much heartier meal. Anyway, I had the chicken Chipotle panini w/pasta salad, it was good. My boys had the kids hot dog and a blt, which they both ate the entirety of. My mom had the chicken teriyaki panini, which she also enjoyed. I definitely felt judged walking in with my family by the other patrons...maybe we were too casual considering it was mothers day. Servers were nice enough, though when we first walked in for a table of 5 we were told a 15-20 min wait, but then when we said ok, we're told they close at 3 (we got in just after 2:15), and that they couldn't sit us at 2:45 & could only do takeout. Well, that would've defeated the purpose so we left. 30 seconds later the hostess came back out saying the other party ahead of us added 2 more people for 7, so they have to wait longer since they don't have a large enough table ready yet and we can have theirs. So, we went back in. Honestly, while the food wasn't bad, given the overall experience, I wish she wouldn't have and we would've kept going to Honey Berry. We won't be back unfortunately, except for maybe a shake (oh which I forgot my son has the oreo shake and he liked it) but most I suspect would enjoy the place. Very cutesy and gives me little girl tea...
Read moreFirst off they get 6 stars for their decor, atmosphere, ambiance, efficiency and customer service. They were so nice and it feels like you're eating inside of a whimsical fairytale. Now if only the food and drinks were of the same calibre. The coffee is $4, while the lattes are $3.99. Reason being, they are not made with real espresso. The paninis and breakfast sandwich weren't bad but did look and taste like something you could make at home. For the panini, you get a side of pasta salad, a very small side. I did feel for what they are charging, you should get more. The churrito shake was good but watch out for the gold balls on top, they can crack a tooth! Lol I would come back with my nieces and some friends because it is really just too cute but I do hope they improve their coffee selection. Once the do, they'll be five-star! Read moreI am not one to post reviews usually, but the customer service here was so good that I had to make one. It was my 2nd or 3rd time in the cafe, and the waitresses were so kind. One in particular stood out for going above and beyond, and I think her name is Jocelyn? She was a great server and made sure my order was correct. The food was delicious and I highly recommend the tortas. Their drinks all look delicious, and I am personally a fan of their current seasonal latte. It is a cozy place for any college students in the area, a date, or just a place to relax for a bit. I will be returning for some other items on the menu because they sound absolutely delicious and based on how my first two experiences went I will...
