McDonald's — Restaurant in Thornton Township

So I just moved out here 5 months ago and I bring my kids here almost once a week. My kids love the play gym along with the new friends that they make when we come here. But something I noticed that is always consistent is there room temperature food. Fries are always limp here and not hot and fresh, chicken nuggets are the same. Me and the other parents and customers have noticed this and I’m used to the McDonald’s I go to through out the city where the food is hot and fresh, the fries at other McDonald’s are hot and crispy damn near burning your mouth but there good. But this river oaks location food is consistently not serving hot and fresh. So I went to investigate and politely asked 2 different workers on different shifts who were behind the counter “why is the food damn near cold and bland as soon as you take it out of the bag from the counter they both said that they have a system that works for them so let the food sit there before bagging it up” SMH I knew I wasn’t tripping so NOW I feed my kids before we go to the play place. People work hard for their money and the food should be Hot ready and fresh to eat. If there was another McDonald’s with a play place that serve hot fresh food that was closer I would take my kids. THE PLAY GYM IS VERY CLEAN BTW they sanitize power wash it every night after closing the lobby but that’s the only good thing about...

This place use to be so good but this is crazy I was in the drive today like 12:04 pm and the screen was stuck on the prior customer order I’m front of me I ask her hey the screen stuck on the screen saying the total was 8.90 she said nothing she can do about it it a McDonald’s menu they all the same ok cool I pulled to the window and ask her why so rude she pointed her finger at me said wait cool them I went in and place a order my daughter and son love it so I had to cause the one on Torrence is better but always pack her the quarter pounder with bacon the bacon burnt burger pink I’m the inside just crazy I use to love this location bout since the remodeling they horrible I sent my Spanish wife in to order and her food perfect all the time cause she speak Spanish well I would say hire more diverse people not all Spanish people they barely an understand you have to repeat yourself all the time and I do understand they only make 12$ a hours so they don’t care about they own life but treat people and put out consistent food and stop being rude and nasty but very clean rest room and always clean restaurant that where the 1 star come from 15.34$...

I ordered a burger, got home and saw that it was half cooked. I called and expressed my issue regarding the burger. The manager said to bring it back. I went back and let me mention I do not live close by. I walked in AND WAS NOT GREETED AT ALL. No one said hi, hello, how can I help you, someone will be right with you. Clearly you can see I had an issue because my McDonalds bag was on the counter. Finally I HAD to ask for the manager and she apologized for the error with my food. NEVERTHELESS, I STILL HAD TO WAIT 20 MINUTES for my burger because it appeared that the staff was fixing and serving EVERYONE ELSE as I stood there and waited. Funny thing is, as Hispanic customers walked in and approached the counter, they received SMILES, GREETINGS, HELLOS, & THANK YOUS!! When I finally got my order, she threw in a free order of fries.
