T's Oasis — Restaurant in Thornton Township

My first visit here. I did not get to try any food. That's because lunch hours are 12:00 to 3:00 pm, and the kitchen opens back up at 5:00 p.m. I picked up my order today. I called it in. Please make sure when you call in your order to check to see what the specials are and how much they cost. According to the post, the special on Wednesday is a patty melt with fries for $6. When I got there they told me there was no special on patty melts. So I paid the regular price of $10.50 each. It's not a bad price but I was expecting to pay $12 in tax for two. I did go over the post with the cashier to make sure of any other specials going on during the week and of course the other specials were legit but not the one today. So I don't understand why the patty melt was not a special today.

Okay, let's get to the food. The patty melt was delicious. It was seasoned perfectly. The onions were grilled perfectly. The food was nice and hot.

I will come back again but I'm going to double-check to make sure about the prices before I do.

It's a great spot to hang out for lunch and dinner. There are less than 20 items on the menu but they are nicely priced. Also, if you're a drinker there's plenty of that too. And the prices are great.

My visit on 8/13/24 was great. I picked up steak tacos to go with an order of fries. The owner was available and made the adjustments to my previous order, a man of his words!

The steaks tacos and fries were delicious, and still hot when I got home. The steak tacos are $2.50 on Tuesday's. Please stop by to get you some. Don't forget to grab some for your friends and family. Don't forget to ask about the weekly specials.

This is a great place to grab lunch/dinner with great prices. Maybe I'll see you there!

The visit today, April 29th 2025, to pick up chicken tacos Mexican style, we are talking delicious. Those tacos were some of the best I have ever had. The price was amazing at $7.50 for three tacos.

This place is down the street from where I work - awesome food. I come here for lunch. Owner is SUPER nice, service is great during the day. Brought my husband here on a Friday at 6pm…could not even have a conversation - I don’t understand why the music has to be SO LOUD. Tell us we’re not welcome without telling us. Please save your money and skip this place. I've had better food out of a food truck. The chile relleno tasted like it was frost bitten. The nachos were a mess and I kinda got a racist vibe out of the place felt like they were patronizing me the whole time.I was polite through the whole ordeal we felt like leaving the whole time which if we would have known the food was this bad we would have left before the food came out.
