I recently tried the Chicken Shawarma Plate from Baba’s Kitchen and was genuinely impressed! The chicken was perfectly seasoned and grilled just right—tender, juicy, and packed with bold Mediterranean flavor. It came with a warm, fluffy pita that paired wonderfully with the creamy hummus, which had a nice hint of paprika on top. The fresh side salad added a nice crunch and balanced out the meal. The portion was generous and satisfying, making it a great value for the price. Overall, a delicious and well-rounded plate—definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to

Excellent food! I love the all the shawarma here, especially salmon and chicken. Terrific lentil soup. Best hummus I've ever had from any restaurant. Even the side salad and vegetables are on point. One of the few places without alcohol that I go out of my way for, lol. Bottom line: as long as you have functional taste buds, you'll be glad you went! Update Feb 2023 - still delicious. Had the chicken shawarma salad. Could only eat half! Generous portions. My lunch companion had the lamb skewer plate. They're wonderful. She took half fine, too!

I've been going to Baba's for a couple years now. I stumped in there while grocery shopping one day. Friendly staff, they are all related - so nice family business. I grab a lentil, clam chowder, or creamy chicken something rather made with yogurt and has lemon. It's my favorite, but I can't pronounce it. Lol... I live close by, so it's super convenient form me on my way home from work.

I’ve been coming here for many, many years—like more than 15 years. I’m a vegetarian who loves falafel & I’ve had it from many places all over LA & NYC, and the falafel they make here is still my absolute favorite. Perfectly seasoned, moist, green, & crumbly on the inside while crispy on the outside. And the tahini sauce they drizzle on the sandwich or offer on the side is seasoned with garlic & parsley. It’s so good over the falafel, as a dip for fries, or as a dressing. The hummus is exceptional too: smooth, creamy, garlicky, with a light dusting of cayenne. In short, their falafel, hummus, & tahini dressing are what I judge all others by.

So do yourself a favor, vegetarian & non-vegetarian alike, & order some hummus to share & try either the falafel sandwich or the plate. And maybe do what I do & get a bunch of extra balls on the side to take home & reheat later for falafel salads. You won’t regret it. And my omnivorous friends love the food here too, esp the chicken &...

I had lunch at this restaurant today was genuinely impressed by the quality and authenticity of the food. The chicken shawarma was absolutely delicious—tender and perfectly seasoned. The falafel had the ideal balance of a crispy exterior and fluffy, flavorful interior. It’s clear they’re using fresh herbs and spices, and you can taste the difference. The kabobs were another highlight: juicy, grilled to perfection, and served with rice and salad. Beyond the food, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, with friendly staff and a clean, well-decorated space that makes you want to linger a little longer. If you’re in the mood for authentic Mediterranean flavors, I highly recommend stopping by—you won’t be...

Great local place for some excellent Mediterranean food. We had a craving for some and the drive into the valley was just too daunting and Google search did not disappoint. The falafels were seasons just right and fried to perfection, crunchy on the outside, soft and moist on the inside. The beef shwarma was up to par, the hummus tasted great, and the warm pita kept coming. But the lamb kebob, it is obvious they knew exactly how to cook it. It's tender, juicy, not gamy at all. I rarely eat lamb because a lot of places simply cant prepare it right, Baba's Kitechen does an excellent job and based on this first visit, I look forward to going back again to try out some of their other offerings...
